The GH5 being used to shoot 'serious movies' isn't so inconceivable to me. The 10 bit 4:2:2 4K make it a good option for very low budget films that are hoping to eventually get picked up by platforms that are seeking out or require 4K content. Yeah, it's no Alexa, but it's $2000. 

On that note, if you know what you're doing, pretty much any recent camera can be used to make decent theatrical content these days. This was shot on two GH4s:

If anyone needs any help converting their existing .cube luts to the required .vlt let me know as I have spent all weekend working out how to do this and convert my own batch of fave .cubes to .vlt

There's no confusion here. You bought a 54 thinking you can make a massive money on it so you had to post it everywhere. You do this all the time man, kept double posting everything you had now you do triples. Nice going, but please skip the "I am an anamorphic loonie like you" pick up line, it sounds slimy.

I can offer you 15.000$ but you have to send me the Lens first so I can check it out before paying.

I am a professional video producer and have historically found my business benefits most from focus on story - grading / color has been down on my list of priorities in terms of what my clients notice and pay me for. I have seen a lot of my colleagues get bogged down in grading to the detriment of their delivery schedules.
However This workflow is so easy and fast and the results so powerful that I simply cant ignore it.
Indeed I am noticing dramatic results using the LUTS. Especially highlight roll off and color pop - I have always been a fan of those deluxe reds and blues from Canon and now I have them. Those popping colours are a matter of taste - i like candy colors so I am stoked. but one can always dial them down to taste.  (Of course I am bracing for the usual online slamming about how my colours are all wrong...) 
I put together a quick and dirty before (in camera using recommended settings) / after  (LUT applied) edit so you can intuitively feel the difference this LUT workflow makes - In my case on GH4 footage - with an Oly 7-14 at f7.1 - shutter speed way up as i don't have a vari ND set up for this lens yet.
Dont discount setting idynamic range to high if you are in a challenging dynamic range situation - i put an example of this at the end of the video.

Hey guys,
I recently moved from my Canon (EOS 5D MKII) to Sony (A7R2), and I got quite upset, that I could not use the VisionLOG profiles on my RAW files in ACR/Lightroom anymore to grade my stills in Photoshop by using LUTs. I couldn't find a alternative on Google - so I found a way to modify the original VisionLOG files to go with the SONY A7RII. I'd happy to share that with you guys:

I am very curious how many people there are who were waiting for that. I can't be the only one who grades stills via LUTs.

My endless search for Anamorphic lenses has brought right back around to this forum yet again.

This guy charges stupid money for things that you can find cheaper.
So, yes you can find them for £500, but certainly not from this guy.
Just because one person charges extortionate prices for things, doesn't mean that that is the price they go for or the price you should pay.
The lens the OP is talking about is not worth over £1K & only a fool would buy one for that price - there are cheaper & better anamorphics out there.

Metabones EF XL working fine on my Panasonic G80.

If one looks at this pic:

It seems as if the G80 would have the same issue as the Olympus bodies for which Metabones created the Speedbooster S. That would really be a pitty.

Yeah, the pricing this guy keeps pushing is quite something :-/
