I did this for a long time but then i got the Slr magic variable nd that you can change the polarization effect with and has close to zero colour distortion, i'm a big fan of 90 degree shutter with the more action related stuff i film.

It also works great with camera like the Sony a7 or the T3i which have issues like moire and aliasing, the grain often helps hide those issues in my experience.

60 fps in the c100 ii is not confirmed to slow mo in camera so you have the flexability to drop the clip into your timeline and make the parts you want to be inte slow mo.

yeah its only auto and its still filmed in 60 fps but every two frames blended so you get some very wierd motion artefacts, look up the hdr mode from the 80D

wouldn't it be amazing if panasonic worked together with metabones to make a 0.55x speedbooster so that they could hit the full frame audience

well all my lenses are for full frame so it would be very expensive for me personally to get into a 2.7x crop system.

i gave up on mine, no audio, lots of overheating, horrible screen but it's a beatuiful image. Currently waiting on Mark ii prices to drop even farther

i would personally never shoot in a monochrome picture profile because if you change your mind in post you cant get color back, just stay in the Flaat profile and make the color/black and white choice afterwards.

i personally used the mitakon lens turbo ii with canon eos mount, you cant have electronics for eos lenses but you also dont risk breaking the electronics in the lens turbo with other adapters because there are none.

i would personally go with the canon eos one, you can mount nikon, contax c/y, olympus om, m42 ,pentax k and of course use canon eos with electronic connnections on the speedbooster.

a lot of people have metioned that the camera does not seem to have c-log which will really limit its DR and it will probably be similar 1dxii
