It’s new tech, bleeding edge. It’s game changing for sure, but still first gen, so problems should be expected.
I have no plans to get one. I’m far more interested in seeing the RYYB camera tech used in the Huawei P30 Pro make it to other smartphone brands, as I don’t trust Huawei with all of my account information.
I would be curious to see if RYYB tech would make sense in dedicated cameras?
Almost as intriguing is their periscopic zoom camera.

If you plan on only shooting video the c100ii seems a better choice, since 4k is not a concern.
When it comes to matching in post,  just make sure all cameras are black balanced, matching color temperatures, and same picture profiles. If you plan to CG in post shoot in CLog. Try to shoot as near to the base ISO as possible to avoid noise. You should be golden.

Can’t say noise has ever been an issue with my Tilta Nucleus M units. They are very quiet.
We mainly use them for zoom on the Canons as the AF is rock solid and can be changed remotely via the browser remote.

Instant snap focus is really not something I use the Tilta for. It’s more about smoothness, with subtle ramped stops of movement.
The bigger concern near as I can tell is the stress that these fast high torque movements are putting on the lens/lens mount. Clearly the force is so excessive that a second person is required to hold the lens down to mitigate the huge stresses.
Look at how the whole lens is moving as the follow focus is actuated. The biggest complaint that I had with the Tilta after receiving it was the massive torque it put out. Tilta later released two firmware updates to address the issue.
Lastly I add that you should know that as the lens is torqued in this manner, the image will shift about in a noticeable way. Not a look I strive for... but to each their own I suppose.

Well the trouble is they are using toy Mirrorless bodies to try and do the same thing dedicated Cine cameras do that weigh 5 times as much, and have Positive Lock lens mounts on them. It really is never going to work as well, not counting like you say, especially the original Sony a7 series cameras had a hell of a week mount on them. I had to switch my A7r to an aftermarket stainless steel mount to use my longer lenses for birding. It was scary on the original mount. The whole thing was a Disaster trying to use a small body, with really long lenses, on a 36mp sensor. Good luck ever getting a sharp picture when moving the camera around on a Photo Gimbal.
I am a pretty big fan of Mirrorless cameras, but they are not worth a flying shit for a lot of applications. They just are too light and too fragile. If it involves movement look elsewhere. Buying a toy camera and having to put it in a Frankenstein rig is sort of just crazy. Buy a Cine camera. Even to me as good as they are, the Z E2 is just too damn small. You would have to hang an Anvil off of it to really use it. Now if you are a Drone guy, well that works I guess. But that stuff gets old quick.

DBounce got a reaction from Kisaha in I voted for Raw recording on the R
Raw is not magic.. It's nice to have when in challenging lighting conditions. It's not something that is practical to shoot with all the time for most users. After owning the Nikon Z6 for a couple of months, I can honestly tell you, I do not miss it. The image was not as pleasing to my eyes as that of the EOS R. That said, when I buy a camera, I do so not in anticipation of some feature being added in the future, but rather for what it can do at the time when it lands in my hands.
Options are nice to have... Raw on the EOS R would have  been a compelling feature for many. Personally, I would have been more excited to see the missing 10 bit codec added to the C200. That would have allowed me to shoot 10 bit rather than 8 bit for the bulk of the video that I do. I also believe it would have been a major boost to C200 sales. And by that token may have enhanced EOS R sales. But we all know that with Canon features seldom, if ever, change after the release.

The C200 can already shoot at 4k 60p in 10-bit. 24p is upto 12-bit. No update needed. But 10-bit is only in RawLite.
Raw is great, when you are dealing with HDR scenarios. But if shooting under controlled lighting conditions it's overkill.

No one is happy about the crop or the rolling shutter (I am sure you were very happy about Log in the 1DXII), it is just what one gets from Canon at this price range and it still looks quite decent, simple as that, the RP is just way too limited in every way for not a whole lot less money. Panasonic Sony or Nikon all do FF 4k with internal stabilisation, but somehow I just don't prefer how they look. They also don't have the lens selection and support that Canon has.
Looks very solid to me, rolling shuter or not.
I think that this external raw thing could be completely bogus anyway, since originally it was offered 10-bit 4:2:2 external recording(4k only, so no 1080p FF to fight the trolling shutter), but maybe it is one of those rare cases, where they do actually react to what's out there (but it could take a fair few months to update the firmware anyway, even ver. 1.2 is a month away).
If someone would crack the RF code and release a fully functional RF-EF focal reducer, for the EOS R (just like there is one for the M50), it would probably sell like crazy.

Would love to see these features added to this pair. It would boost sales hugely.
I’m not sure what, if anything can be done for the crop in the R, but if it could be addressed many would jump on board.

YouTube certainly supports 1440p on Android... and maybe 4k, but you need to own one of the 4k Sony phones to test that out. YouTube is limited to 1080p on iOS as Apple does not support the VP9 codec that YouTube uses for video compression of footage with resolutions beyond 1080p.

Until half your shots are out of focus. I think Panasonic dropped the ball on these cameras. Great AF has to be part of the equation for any new camera... for both stills and video.

That's exactly what I have come to understand. Honestly,  all of the top cameras produce a good enough image for serious work. It's the other components that most of us are missing. Creative lighting, thoughtful camera movement and most importantly... a good story.
Find a system that works for you and shoot. Work within the limitations. Focus on telling the story. That's get you get better.

The Ninja V rocks. It's a must have imo. I am only without it when I need to travel light. It's so helpful when framing, getting good exposure. These days I rely on AF almost exclusively, though I would not trust the Nikons AF to that extent. Which makes the Ninja V an even better choice when combining with the Nikon. I think I'm done with new cameras until the next breakthrough... per/pixel gain adjustment. Once that becomes a thing I will be interested enough to explore new bodies. Cured of GAS, I am now focusing on content. Which feels great to say. We are finally a parity amongst camera manufactures. Pretty much any of the top contenders is good enough to get the job done. This leveled playing field means manufactures will need to push the envelope to rake in new sales. 2020 should be interesting to say the least.

I saw this posting over at the Z-Cam Facebook group. It seems there is a vender working on producing a new Anamorphic lens for the M43 system. The vender claimed that the new lenses would be quite affordable. It's expected to make the light of day in about three months. Here is a picture of the lens.
