I also noticed more cinematic motion cadence with the BMPCC and GH4 shooting at true 24.00p with 180 degree shutter opposed to 23.976 and 1/50th shutter, especially using All-I.

Take Europa (Zentropa in US) by Lars von Trier for example.

I can see only 2 dark spots regarding this camera till now. One is the auto focus performance, as mentioned above, and the other is what panasonic calls Three-Dimensional Color Control. If AF is indeed 2 times faster than gh4 and 3DCC actually helps the user to get rid off that ugly orange skintones, even with tweaking, this will be a dream video camera. Again, fingers crossed....

Hahaha. Could you say where he says it (in mins). One of the few noticeable limitations in the Panasonic cameras (compared to Canon and Sony) is the disappointedin auto-focus. I was hoping they address some of that with the GH5. 

I was super happy to read you. Then I watched and the guy actually says it works just as well as the GH4. 
So I think we should be more worried about what he says actually

Handling, ergonomics and shooting experience are at the end of the day matters of personal taste, preferences and experience. The shooter has just to be okay with his camera and its limitations and flaws. As long as a filmer and his audience are satisfied with IQ of a camera, everything is going to be alright....

Lovely camera hard to beat if ever : ) Fujifilm (maker) really rules.
 
PS -- Funny note: test to watch it @480p (or even @360p) and compare with other camera samples at same resolution... :X
Cinematic outcome is an ultimate combo this brand shows to know.

I am just criticizing the weight some people give to the topic here or in any other cameras forum. There are much other aspects to consider when we choose a camera IMHO. Aside the fact, this issue can also stand in a subjective approach, as Mattias pointed out.
It hasn't impacted the task to not buy a camera IMO. I differently agree that buying/using a camera for form factor is a whole other matter, though. Two different perspectives.
C100/300 are indeed a fine example. Samsung owners praise their devices as we all know here, too. Nothing against on their/your/our likings on the subject matter.

He means Dual IS, the IBIS has been confirmed to work with non lumix brand lenses.

I thought as much. Next thing is to find out if a Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 + 0.71x Metabones Speed Booster will vignette on GH5 - given that there's no crop-factor in 4K like GH4.

It should if it is a Canon mount lens and you use either a Metabones smart adapter (focal reducer or non focal reducer) or Kipon (non focal reducer only).
That is it should at least work for AF for stills.     Video will need someone to try the lens with the various adapters.

I got 2 GX85's for a specific project, so I can attest to the brand loyalty thing.  I've used Panasonic cameras for a long time and brand comfort makes the choice to buy-in to a new camera for this gig a bit easier.  Plus, the dang things are ridiculously cheap.
That said, I still think the 5-axis in the Oly EM5II is just a touch better than what Panasonic is offering; industry leading.  However, there's a caveat:  that's only when using non-OIS lenses.  If you have a Pany OIS lens paired with the Panasonic sensor stabilizer, it's really good. 
I'm also really loathe to turn away from the ergos of my EM5II.  I'm surprised that I connected so much to the EM5II, to be honest, but I do love how it just works.  If only Oly had better motion picture IQ...

You forgot a very very important point: Autofocus. Panasonic really lacks a good AF and if we could have a similar AF as A6300 that would be really awesome.

Griffin Hammond's "HAND-CUT" is 8-bit 4:2:0. Is it bad...? ;-)
 

Man this camera sounds so good. A true video workhorse with 12 stops of DR, improved RS and an excellent codec. All for less than £1700 (almost half the price of a C100 II and a third of an FS5).  Neumann's sample footage is stunning. Really looking forward to owning one of these.

8 bit is enough if you expose correctly unless you are into heavy grading. 10 bit is plenty enough data than 95% of anyone but a feature film is going to need.
Don't get me wrong who doesn't want more, but 12 bit say 4.4.4 takes a lot of space to use, and Raw 14 bit is crazy a amount of space..The GH5 will
pretty much have all you need which is nice. Now the 60fps 4k will be only 8 bit. So that Might need a external recorder for that.
