But these models from those two manufacturers in the same market segment compete between each other... Z cam has sat in-between those two models you mention.

Because they would hardly allow a competitor to include it before P4K will feature it as add-on. It doesn't make sense purely from a strict business perspective.

Exactly my thoughts : ) To me, resolution is just a workflow spec. No need to concern too much myself about it. Nothing wrong on proxies. They are intrinsic part of 4K workflow today as will happen along 8K. I don't even feel the need for 4K monitoring, go figure and you're able to buy any 4K display for a few hundreds today ; -)

I don't see any other contender even close.

Speaking of devil, WB setup is one of the reasons P4K is pretty awesome. The way you can select and play with it makes everyone a better shooter with no further excuses, rescues your outcome from lazy operators and speaks volumes how the ease of use stands as a valuable add-on when we choose the capture device of (y)our liking, hey @webrunner5 ; ) but first we need to test it before a(ny) online evaluation more prone to become off at distance of a qwerty keyboard : -D

Markku Alén won five times (1975-78, 1981* with the mythical Abarth and again twelve years later in 1987 with the older Integrale's brother) the Portuguese major competition. As matter of fact, our rally follows his native 1000 Lakes where he took 6 triumphs and has the 2nd rank along his WRC victories only a year later. Until then, Portugal ranked first. Without mention where he got his 1st important victory in a world class rally ever, to succeed many others in the following dozen years. He was one of my 1st heroes, so it is very nice to see him around and pretty on the spot, buddy! (E : -) * Someone still keeps the wheel he lost in 1981 when he got his 3rd cup, can you imagine?

LOL I wish this community would pay my bills to match the countless responsibilities I have to fill the cup! Time is short. I will tell you something though. One of these days I'll have posted some paid gig shot with this same unit. Count on it : ) When people will probably be hysteric with some other new release over here. That's my cup of tea, takes years to fulfill... : -)
