My review is finally online ! I hope it will help people and answer a few questions ! Let me know what you think of it ! It took me so much time and yet I just have shaky footage to show...  I'll shoot something decent soon, a real project !
 

It depends on how you shoot. It might not be a major issue for many, but I draw a lot of inspiration from the aesthetic of directors who make prominent use of ultra wides like Terry Gilliam, Terrence Malick and Michael Mann (of late), so it is for me.

Yes, the company responsible for building the GH line of cameras, which is famous for pushing leading edge technology at this price point, couldn't possibly make a camera that has the RAW capabilities of a $1300 camera just released, for only three times the price.  That is completely beyond comprehension!

The camera had been off at least 20 minutes before I tried to take it out - I'll report back the next time I use this battery (tomorrow)

For anyone wondering, the Ninja Star works like a dream with this camera. When I press record on the P4K, the Star also starts recording. That's not happened for me with any other camera since I bought it. Apparently it's a known issue, but the product is too old for Atomos to update. Looks like BM did it for them.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but recording on the P4K at 4096x2160 means the Star records a file that's 1920x1062.

On facebook the tilta rep said thats a hard shell flip screen protector on back.

@TurboRat I am using the Kipon Baveyes Ultra (speedbooster) - Contax to m43 to adapt Zeiss to GH and eventually to the P4K when it arrives, working well with the 50mm 1.7 and 35-70mm 3.4 lenses, slowly building a set of these ?

Just got my order allocation at CVP

I ordered at 19:10 (UK time) and CVP told me that my order falls within the first 20. They also don't know when they will get another shipment.  
BM should of just said it was a October release then we would all be praising that they managed to get 1 or 2 out in September

They haven't said anything unfortunately, they just showed the films. One person who ordered from cvp really early on told me he hasn't had any updates from them at all, which sounds a bit worrying. I personally haven't ordered yet, will only get it in the new year if I need it for work.

Of note was the part where he says "In developing full frame cameras, we have decided to target professionals in both photography and videography categories".
I'm not sure how good the translation on this is, but it's unlikely that it's an error saying that it's targeting professional videographers.  He was talking about the ergonomics at the time, but I think it extrapolates.  He also spoke about how they've lead the market previously and the culture around their camera development is of new challenges and bringing things to customers that exceeds other companies offerings.  
Of course, who knows what that really means - 4K RAW, 4K60, 6K, 8K, or if it's just a FF GH5(s), but it's probably a good sign from our point of view about the video specs.

@Mmmbeats if you've been looking at the Zeiss range you have probably come across the Zeiss survival guide.. if not, it's quite an interesting read ? looking at the zeiss contax lenses myself recently, liking the look they give.. those classics look really nice too.

Yes, I do.
The good news is that it isn't that bad on the BMPCC really, although lacking a bit of speed and flexibility.
You do the push focus to lock it and in the main it does catch it reasonably quickly and you are helped here by it being a fairly narrow aperture lens even at its widest so its reasonably forgiving. 
The issue of course is that if you then want to switch focus mid take as it gets a bit messy but, as I say, for what it is which is a very compact and cheap wide angle that is probably going to see most of its use with deep depth of field on a gimbal or for fixed wide shots then that might not be a problem depending on your application.
The better news is that if you do want to use it on a BMPCC then if you connect a LANC controller that has focus control then you are actually able to manually focus it using that method.
When it comes to using it on the Pocket 4K, its a bit good news/bad news really.
The good news is that with the touch to focus option then it will be a lot more usable for focus change on the fly than it is on the original Pocket.
The bad news is that the Pocket 4K has dispensed with the LANC port so the manual focus option isn't available.
What it does have though is Bluetooth LE and the focus far/near is part of the spec in the developer documents for what can be controlled so it does open up that opportunity again for a 3rd party to create that via an app or a hardware controller.
I know someone who is definitely working on the latter......
