The EOS RP has an identical sensor to the 6D Mark II, with a micro-lens array design more suited to mirrorless lenses. Comment on the forum Could the Sony A6700 get a break-through new sensor technology? Sony has been listening to the feedback surrounding the A6300 and A6500, which had quite a severe rolling shutter (30ms+) in 4K. The good news is, Sony have just announced a new high resolution 31MP (over 6K) APS-C / Super 35mm sensor with a global shutter.
