I mean if they use some sort of z6iii sensor with the same sort of read out speed but put a great OLPF in front of it plus Arri logC I’m kind of interested.

It looks pretty compact, which is nice, but yeah. Lumix did talk about making smaller lenses for the S9, perhaps this is one of them?

I'd prefer a compact 24-60 over the 28-70 I have. I find those first 4mm much more useful than the last 10mm

For me personally, after getting so much use out of the 20-60 kit lens, I'd have preferred something on the wider end like that with a constant aperture. Maybe a f4?

Totally agree, somehow the jump from 24-28 feels way more than just 4mm for me. 

20-60 / 2.8 or 4.0 would have been very welcomed.

I only got the 20-60 as a kit at the time of purchase, the body only was not available. I Figured it would just sit in the box until I sold the body, but surprisingly I have used it way more than I ever anticipated using a slow split aperture lens!

Why this €25k fine doesn't work in mainland China? 99% of all the leaks are from China, and mostly by distributors, not by an independent journalist or a reviewer who wants to find the bugs and send feedback to the engineering team before the release. Can't they distinguish between friend and foe?

It really is an excellent lens. I have one for every camera in my kit after initially thinking I'd never use it. It's by far the best kit lens I've ever used.

According to this it looks pretty interesting although I’m still not too clear on the difference between the models other than a white box.

I'm with Andrew.

If the leaked specifications are confirmed, I find these two cameras to be completely dull, boring, and uninspired.

I don't work in research and development, nor in the marketing department but I was a loyal customer and so I really don't understand the strategy (if there is a strategy).

You have 5% of the market and you present two absolutely anonymous cameras that don't stand out from the multitude of cameras sold by the market leaders. You can't afford 6 full-frame cameras.

What we all loved about Panasonic was its ability to stand out from the rest. In a market completely dominated by the usual players, it was able to innovate. Now that drive has been completely lost.

Precisely because you are constantly losing market share and are fading into oblivion, for me the motto applies: When in trouble, go big!

You have also absorbed what was once the professional division and you continue to present tired and worn-out concepts.
