Blackmagic Live Production & Camera Update - 3rd April 2020

Not easy to get excited by a new product when we are all coming to terms with the new world and a new way of life.

But Full Frame would be my guess. In a non-too-exciting form factor. I’d welcome a return to the BMCC2.5 philosophy. Build it like a tank. Make it do simple things. Well.

(Unless BM have made a little add-on box - in milled aluminium obviously - that does everything-one-could-possible-want-a-little-add-on-box to do...)

Would love a "cheap" EVF. Something around 800$.

Also a fullframe ursa mini pro in a smaller sizer than previous models with dual iso.

Didn't even consider that, I love their viewfinder for the Ursa so would absolutely love a smaller form factor version of that.

8k Raw monster? Ef mount please

In the age of mirrorless? I doubt it. I'm hoping that they join the L mount alliance.

The ATEM Mini is great but I can't help thinking that if you're showing off a four channel video switcher it would have been beneficial to anyone who hasn't seen it before to have more than just the one source attached to.

Particularly when you are literally surrounded by cameras.

The timecode thing is big.

Was hoping this Pro version would have multi-view though.

Unless he's leaving that to the end !

Wow they did it, worth it's weight in gold. if this is less than $1500 it's going to sell like wildfire.

Edit: $600 is a STEAL
