No, the camera does not currently have any file transfer capabilities.
If BM include it in the future then it can be incorporated.
In the meantime, if you want to transfer wirelessly to your phone then you could use a Toshiba FlashAir wifi SD card as the recording medium in the camera. They are rated at 90MB/s so will be fast enough for the more compressed versions of ProRes or for the DNG stills.
A browser and transfer functionality for the FlashAir could be incorporated relatively simply if there is a demand for it.
I personally think the path of least resistance though is to use the Samsung T5 drive to record on as it can be read by the phone and the transfer speed even on a DNG still versus wifi transfer far outweighs the few moments of a cable swap from camera to phone

Pleased to announce that my Pocket4K app for Android is now complete and is with beta testers so barring any calamties will be available from the Play store on the 21st of December.

Here is a screen shot with a quick run through of the features from top to bottom :

Across the top we have the controls for Aperture, ISO and shutter angle.
Next up we have the colour temperature and tint controls, the preset white balance selectors, the Auto White Balance button and, of course, the Record button.
Beneath that we have the 8 snapshot memories which you can use to store and instantly recall 8 different custom settings of ISO, Aperture, Shutter Angle and White Balance. To store the preset you long press on the memory slot that you want to use and to recall it just short press. Haptic feedback is given to indicate that the preset has been written and the currently loaded preset is denoted in orange (M1 in the shot above). Presets are stored in non volatile memory so are always available in any session.
Next is the focus controller, which is operated using the slider and/or the fine tune buttons. A long press of the button moves instantly to closest focus and infinity respectively. The AF button in ths row activates the single shot auto focus.
To accompany the focus controls, you then have 6 memory slots (A to F) to store focus points and you can switch instantly between them by simply pressing the required one. In addition, next to these are the controls for A-B-A focus transition and the speed control. Again, all focus points are stored in non volatile memory for use in any session.
Finally we have the controls for applicable MFT power zoom lenses with the same interface as the focus controls (including long press for instant minimum/maximum zoom) and 4 non volatile memory positions for later recall.
There is another function that it can do that I'll let you know about closer to release date and I will put up a little demo video of it in action late next week.

Crazy how ebay sellers make more than double profit for selling BMPCC 4K cameras and people actually buy them almost instantly. We live in an impatient world.

in this vid, the Viltrox looks more blurry but on other vids it looks sharper than Metabones. I am confused.

Luckily it is only 3min long, otherwise the 40min battery life could have been an issue.

What I don't understand is how they made that without AF and a flappy screen.

You should probably cue the X files music in the background because I have literally just bought a used one of these lenses about an hour ago as a general purpose lens for a few different cameras and put it on the BM4K!

My live report from the scene is no vignette, reports f2.5 on the short end and f4 on the long end. VC works and is surprisingly effective at the long end.
No AF though either one shot or touch.

It's an inbuilt time lapse funtion.  It would be impossible with real time playback.  But you can tell everything is sped up.

    You're wrong!
True... weather-sealing, magnesium build, tilt screen, better slow-mo, excellent color science, battery grip that extends life out to the two hour region and being a excellent stills camera is of no value to us manual shooters. Meanwhile back in the real-world...

Maybe the battery door falling off is actually to tell us that the battery is at 5% and really must be changed now, even though the meter is showing full

The thing is - if it can do a 4K/UHD 60p readout. Then it should be possible to do a cropped 1080p240 readout as well ( haha being demanding on my side. Maybe it is saved for a future firmware update )

There is a reason it is Half the price. It has Half the the features of a GH5, GH5s. I bet, even on here, half the people that buy a PK4 will have it for sale in the Sub Section in less than 3 months. You are going to have 3 thousand dollars or more tied up in one to make it really work. Right out of the box it is pretty useless for a modern camera today.
And don't give me the ProRes crap. I can buy a 200 dollar Ninja Star and get ProRes on any camera that has a clean HDMI out..
I bet most people on here had the BMPCC at one time and got rid of it. Sure it was a fabulous camera output wise. But it was a Total pain in the ass to use. And the PK4 is not going to be much different. How many people Still have a BMPCC on here. Damn few I bet, and if they do have it they use it less and less.
Hey no doubt it is going to have great output if you are good at getting it and can grade well. But that is not going to be a speed demon at doing it. I just find it would work for me, but I just don't see it fitting into most peoples workflow. More of a toy to be honest for most. But nothing wrong with that. I would imagine we all have plenty of toys among us.

Yeah but what is crazy is the GH5s can shoot up to 192fps without cropping the sensor, anything above that up to 240fps it has a slight sensor crop. But up to 240fps! Impressive. So it is not the sensor in the PK4, it is a sensor processing problem. Too much data to handle I guess with it''s Codec.
I don't get why there is so much dislike for the GH5s on this site. It does just about everything you could want. You can put a Speedbooster on it and be a bit larger than s35. So it is a modern day, even better for slo mo camera than a Sony FS700 in a tiny package compared to it. And used they are damn near the same money. And FS700 Color Science is pretty damn terrible to be honest.

what a terrible resolution at 120 fps. I honestly can't get why an awesome hardware intensive codec packed cam cannot do BETTER (less crop and blurry) res at 120 fps. It is not a slow-mo cam I know (and also I don't really like the slow mo hype around) but seriously, it is useless.
