When you realise this camera is really 95% a RAW shooting camera with big amounts of data - it’s a fine line between being really stupid or a genius, on the basis you buy one. 
I didnt get it and it’s just not as versatile as the EVA1. I like the image better on the C200, but sometimes, logic needs to come before your emotions. 

Other than the Fan and some Buttons, I don't think there is many things that can go wrong with a Cine camera like the FS7. Sounds like a nice deal to me. Not much more than a FS5 to be honest. Check for Hot Pixels though. Only thing that would worry me.

The internal mikes on a C100 mk II are more for scratch audio than full blown audio recording. I am not surprised they are not so hot for recording on in front of a stage. Surely the Rode is much better.

No offense but this is very basic Amazon shopping "skill".  Avoid any other vendor other than ships and sold by Amazon.
(Unless it's a company selling it's own goods on Amazon.)
 
What is the point of this post? You got burned because you bought from a crappy source and now blaming Amazon... Same thing can happen at eBay or Alieexpress or wherever you are deal hunting...
 
You might want to boycott Amazon for other reasons (warehouse working conditions) but this is just silly.

Skintones on A7III seem pretty good, what the hell are people talking about.  If not, use color correction...

As long as you have a camera that can do at least 10bit and it has a Log it can do HDR 2020.

Built in ND and audio controls cannot be undervalued. 

What lenses do they have?  If just a kit lens, then I feel there is no reason to stick with Canon. 

Get them a Panasonic G85 instead
 

Fs7 is the king, it just so happens to be my dream camera as well ?

better build quality (metal vs plastic), headphone jack built into the receiver for when i'm using a camera without a headphone jack, and significantly smaller body back. Only thing I liked about the Rode link was that there was no protruding aerial/antennae.

Yeah the differences become more apparent when you get tricky lighting conditions. In that test above I could spot the EOS R a lot due to the lack of DOF. 
The big issue with the video in the original post is Slog has a lot more noise then standard profiles, so when comparing ISO its really unfair. If he used the standard profile or Cine4 it would look very clean. 

Isn't the truth now that all modern cameras produce very good images and the differences between them are more a matter of taste and style than of one being markedly better than another. The flaws I see in footage these days seem to come more from operator error in either the capture or the post production stages.

Then they used improperly exposed SLOG 3(once again in Super 35 crop mode) indoors and zoomed in on the shadows. Pretty sure in 2018 everyone and their grandma knows to avoid SLOG 3 on the 8 bit Sony bodies.

Video was giving me Red flags.
