Ah, I mean if they added  that feature to the S1 or introduced a new model.  Not everyone needs 6k. 

IBIS + Highlight Rolloff is better on the S1H.  IBIS allows me to stabilize my Contax Zeiss lenses. Since there is more DR in the S1H the highlight rolloff is smoother. I think the default color is better on the S1H...but that can be matched to the BM cameras with ease. 

@thebrothersthre3 I don't know much about highlight rolloff nor color grading. I threw every LUT you can imagine at it, that promised "smoother highlight rolloff" but at the end of the day I think it was a dynamic range issue. 
I think RAW shooting is great, but I don't think it is the end all solution that everyone claims it to be. Yes, it is great if you fuck up white balance. And it is much easier to fix exposure, but it is something many of us don't really need. I initially shot with the A7III and Sony's busted 8bit codec. I felt BRAW was the final solution to my woes...and it was! It really solved all the issues I had before. But shooting in VLOG or any other proper codec...and exposing properly...and hitting your WB correctly as you should...eh...I can live without BRAW. 
 
 

Version 2.0 FW update V-Log setting now has noise reduction of -1, which should address any NR issues you are complaining about. May 25th will be a happy day for S1H users.

Were you shooting in ProRes or ProRes RAW? ProRes RAW is needs a faster hard drive than ProRes, so make sure to check out Atomos website. 
I have a Ninja V too, and Atomos doesn't have anything listed at all for the Panasonic S1H 5.9K ProRes RAW drive requirements. I guess I have to wait and see...

I have not been able to tell, but what I can say is there is a distinctly worse quality coming from the S1H H.265 encoder vs the H.264 encoder. I was editing a music video I shot a few months ago, and I could really see how bad the HEVC stuff was when it was right next to the other codec. 

It's even more than that - RED's patents cover any form of compressed RAW video, including externally recorded RAW. Atomos pays major $$ to RED for being able to put (compressed) ProRes RAW into its recorders:

Oh I didn't know that... I'm lucky then (Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti) 🙂 

They did at IBC 2019 before the ghosting fix on the S1 was available. Was talking to some engineers over there, they even knew who I was and knew the samples I sent. 
Sadly nothing really happened.
Did a collab video with Gerald Undone on this issue and did some promotion for my HLG Lut as well, since HLG is the only way to capture the same amount of dynamic range and color volume using the S1H without having an image which breaks apart quite easily but isn't easy to work with on the other hand without a proper Rec709 conversion to begin with.

You need to download the beta version of Premiere Pro to use the ProRes RAW files. Open your Adobe Creative Cloud app and it will be on the left column. 
For now Premiere only support the exposition changes for the RAW files, neither the ISOS, WB or highlights/lowlights can be changed. Little to no advantage to use ProRes RAW for now.
Resolve RAW development module has always been my favorite, hope it will support it too !

It's actually a backwards terrible solution. Instead of properly displaying and recording the Full Range it converts it into legal range, throwing out data.

Sony's IBIS was always OK for shooting stills and only OK for video where you didn't move - at all. But ANY movement (panning, moving around, walking, etc) was worse with Sony IBIS than just not having IBIS at all. It wasn't until I used the GH5 (and then the S1 and S1H) that I realized how amazing and useful IBIS could be. 
Not sure why it is so bad. As of now, Panasonic is the only manufacturer I would use IBIS with in a professional environment. But I am guessing Canon's will be on par.

Yes, but it's different than how the GH5 line works. You have to have the camera in AFS mode for touch focus to work, as it doesn't work in MF mode. Took me awhile to figure this out ?!

Here is a video shot to really push the hell out of the grade and stress the 200Mbps H265 codec. Shot in 5.9K encoded at 50Mbps with 150Mbps Mbps maximum.
 

Will hopefully force Panasonic to make a firmware upgrade that enables some kind of internal RAW.
