It's soft but worth keeping just for the profile videos I'd say.

The best part about these great edits is when some moron posts in the comments asking which software they used.

Benro S8 is decent and can be found for a good price if you look around. It's a nice photography tripod for the beastly RZ67, too.

I finally stopped waiting for a Mac Pro upgrade and switched back to Windows with a HP Z840. The only real difference these days, honestly, is that it's not as pretty.

Does anyone know what the dynamic range is for raw stills on the GH5? I think it was 12 or so with the GH4.

Bit of the same with brands like HP and Acer. I'm really digging ASUS myself.
HP's workstation line is legit. And about half the price of Apple for the same hardware.

Yes, better to stifle dialogue altogether. Worked well for the Soviets.
It's not a secret. Stop believing the conspiracy theory that Afghan sheep herders conspiring in a cave outwitted a $2 trillion defense infrastructure. Fire doesn't melt steel. Buildings don't come down at free fall speed unless they are imploded. Do the research - there's an abundance out there.
Oh brother. Watching a few fucking conspiracy videos on youtube isn't 'doing research'.

i assure you these 2800 architects and engineers do not think the earth is flat http://www.ae911truth.org/
im designing a building so i actually need it to not fall down due to 'normal office fires'
what i am telling you is true; i understand the principle of cognitive dissonance and i forgive your trespasses
If 9/11 was an inside job, how have all the people involved kept it a secret for over 15 years despite so much other stuff (Snowden, wikileaks etc) coming out?

Hard Lighting
In: Cameras
Make sure they know what hard lighting actually is, esp when shooting women. haha

It's pretty normal for the Nokton's to be very soft wide open. They get razer sharp around 2.8.

Set, lighting, post grading etc is probably most important. But with fuck all budget, a more cinematic camera helps a lot too.

Mind blowing? lol

Wishful thinking, but would be nice to see Apple finally update the Mac Pro with an advanced version of this.

6x9 is obviously slightly wider than 6x7, but 645 is the APS-C.
This graphic shows it quite clearly:

Yeah, 6X7 isn't small at all. 645 is the APS-C equiv.
6X7 is what Steven Meisel, Herb Ritts, et al used in the 90s. You can get incredibly detailed prints from it.
Confusingly, in the stills world they call 645 "Super 35", somewhat confusingly. Meaning a super version of 35mm film, nothing to do with the cinema meaning.

If you find a way to mount them, it will work with any lens that has a long flangefocal distance.
Great. I think they'd still only work at infinity focus unless the speedbooster had a bellows built in. Which is an awesome thought haha.
-
Interesting. Will this speedbooster work with the fantastic Mamiya RZ67 lenses?

The gh4 could already do 10bit at 4:2:2 from hdmi, with no big gains over internal 8bit, as several reports stated.
There's a huge difference in grading. Esp recovering highlights. The reports that stated otherwise are youtube bloggers who don't know what they are talking about.

No. I'm talking about the away motion is rendered. I'm not talking about RS, but about a very subtle jitter. It occurs also when panning or when fast objects pass across the frame. But I'm not talking about RS. it's more like there would be a drop frame, but less evident.
I know exactly what you mean and it most certainly is there in the GH4. Hopefully they fix it with the 5.
