In US only, 1 out of 6 females has been raped or being attempted to.

1 out of 5 is the stat they usually use actually, and I'm fairly sure it's bullshit.

The real sweet spot price wise is a used RZ67 with a 110mm lens. One of the greatest cameras ever and can be had in good condition on eBay for £800 or so.

I agree, and cheaper than that. I got a mint Pro II, 65, 110, 180, and various misc extras for £700 + shipping. Of course a decent digital back for it like the Aptus costs quite a bit more.

  3. To get the catchlight accurate from your scene you could take a pic/video in a dark christmas type ornament that reflects light similar to how an eye would and then mask it in. Photographers sometimes use that as a way of remembering where lights were. (taking a pic of the lights would seem easier!)

  4. There's def a niche market for manual focus in photography, look at the Zeiss all the way through to the Otus. Not to mention Leica. I think the 50mm 1.2 Nikon manual focus is still in production, too, obviously due to interest. (How any mofo can focus without live-view/Zacuto z-finder etc is another story.)

    E-Infinity.

The price of stuff on that site is incredible.

For instance, the Olympus zoom I got is around £1200 in stores like WEX - whereas I bought it for £639.

    Had zero issues with them.

It seems there's no VAT included on the product, and even then, it's still cheaper when you compare prices when it's excluded.

Thanks. Where are they coming from? I've ordered from HK in the past.

    Well this sounds bloody fantastic.

Just this week I sold my FS5 + Inferno and ordered a GH5, which cost £1319 brand new.

I also got the Olympus 45-150 2.8 Pro for £639 brand new, along with some specialised lenses (macro, fisheye etc).

Bought a Sandisk UHS-II to test out, very expensive cards. Anything cheaper that works?

I really really really want to do some anamorphic stuff, Im a big fan of the look however I've never done it, and I'm not too sure how to enter it nice and smoothly. (I'm not into big rig stuff and too much messing around with workarounds).

Anyway really excited. Lots of GH5 videos coming this way!

Where did you get it for 1319? Thanks

    Indeed.

A good idea to wait and try the camera yourself.

The image might be really good.

There will be ways to shoot with it optimally and get the best out of it. Sure, it is not going to make your life as easy as a GH5, but for those who need video bolted to a full frame Nikon, it might be just the ticket.

I think whatever they call the sequel to the D750 will be quite interesting, too...

Another time I have to agree with jonpais. That 12-60mm Leica glass for MFT has a very sharp look but not the beautiful cinephile pleasing

flavor of beautiful mechanic glass. It rather seems a lens for corporate stuff. Tested it shortly today and was wondering why it was so hard to make footage look cinastiqueeeelicious! :)

That's most Panasonic glass imo. 12-35, even somewhat the 42.5 1.2. Really good for architectural shots.
