I've noticed quite a few 1DC on ebay since it going EOL. Hopefully in another year or so it'll be really affordable.

I agree, and cheaper than that. I got a mint Pro II, 65, 110, 180, and various misc extras for £700 + shipping. Of course a decent digital back for it like the Aptus costs quite a bit more.

The Western shot on it above by Elle... she was associated with Digital Bolex, right?

Figures I'd pick the most expensive one. 

Looking forward to the RIII, will probably dump Nikon for it. I think it'll be something special, like the II was compared to the I. Don't care about AF.

Those ads make me want to sell my D750 - mainly just on the cringe-factor vs sexism.

To get the catchlight accurate from your scene you could take a pic/video in a dark christmas type ornament that reflects light similar to how an eye would and then mask it in. Photographers sometimes use that as a way of remembering where lights were. (taking a pic of the lights would seem easier!) 

There's def a niche market for manual focus in photography, look at the Zeiss all the way through to the Otus. Not to mention Leica. I think the 50mm 1.2 Nikon manual focus is still in production, too, obviously due to interest. (How any mofo can focus without live-view/Zacuto z-finder etc is another story.)

The Zeiss 85mm reminds me a lot of the Voigt 42.5. Not sure if that applies to the 50mm, but probably.

The music for the Amiga game (late 80s) Xenon II Megablast was almost the same as the AOP13 theme. I think they just changed it a bit here and there.

For instance, the Olympus zoom I got is around £1200 in stores like WEX - whereas I bought it for £639. 

Had zero issues with them. 

It seems there's no VAT included on the product, and even then, it's still cheaper when you compare prices when it's excluded.

Anyway really excited. Lots of GH5 videos coming this way!

There will be ways to shoot with it optimally and get the best out of it. Sure, it is not going to make your life as easy as a GH5, but for those who need video bolted to a full frame Nikon, it might be just the ticket.

I think whatever they call the sequel to the D750 will be quite interesting, too...

Nice review, definitely getting one early next year when the price is down a touch further.

The 5DII has some of the more filmic looking stills for a digital camera, too. My friend shoots an RZ67 and 5DII and you'd be hard pressed to tell which is which without being told. Some of that is post, but still.

It's hard to suggest what to charge without seeing your work.

That's most Panasonic glass imo. 12-35, even somewhat the 42.5 1.2. Really good for architectural shots.

Seems like a pretty cool camera, and going from current d810 pricing, it'll be quite affordable in a couple of years.

RZ67 and Aptus 22 back if you're feeling daring.
