I can't say. I would write Andrew about this. The settings should be stated pretty much up front in the same informational material that the information about the LUTS are found. 
There are two sets of adjustments in the picture profiles. One for a straight off the card look with minimal editing. The second is settings for a pic. profile using S-log II as the gamma. The advert for the S-log II LUTS is there to match with the Log settings. They work well with the S-log II settings Andrew provides.

In the informational material Andrew sends he gives settings for an EOSHD out of the camera look--no need for grading. He recommends you put these settings in pic. profile 1. In pic profile 2 he recommends using S-log II as the gamma and special settings.

Those S-log settings is what I used to shoot this footage.
Now, if you'll scroll down further in the ed. material you'll see a big headline: "Looking for LUTs for S-Log II?
And under that heading Andrew describes various LUTs he's designed for S-log II...and gives you an option to download.
They are very good LUTs. I used High Dynamic range LUT no. 2 for these shots, but the other LUTS (8 of them I think) are very good. If you have Andrew's info. book on this I think you'll find it all there, settings, and a link to purchase the LUTS--they're inexpensive.

Safari and Chrome display/render colours (particularly red) differently on the same displays for some reason. I also find there is a difference in overall exposure sometimes, or at least it appears that way due possibly to what happens to particular dominant colours.

Maybe because the masses who buy this camera will film everything - and I mean everything - at 4K60p for the first six months until the novelty wears off and the views die down. They will not care for bit rates or efficient codecs. Those who buy the GH5 as a production workhorse are in the tiniest of minorities and will likely only use its showcase feature very sparingly.
Just as the YouTube viewing market was swamped with rats scurrying about at 4am in deserted cities when the a7s first came out, it will shortly be swamped with slow motion skateboard gimbal videos from the end of this month onwards. None of them will care for h.265, let alone Anna Morphic or whatever her name is.
Panasonic need to make money and they do that via the masses and not the serious filmmakers, just as every company does that sells prosumer gear.

Well l do respect Shane a lot, but I really don't think many of us on here are going to be trying to match our cameras to the Reds, or Arii's we are also shooting with!
The GH5 is a 2000 Dollar camera! Is it a Arri Alexa, a Sony F55, a Arriflex that Sam Peckinpah shot, with one off lenses, in slo mo from hell, well no. It is probably the best camera that 90% of us could Ever afford, new or used! Can it sort of look like a Canon 5D mkIII in raw, BMPCC in Raw, you bet your ass if you can grade worth a shit. 
This is finally, a no F-ing excuses, for the masses camera. This is a camera just like the Panasonic AF 100A I just bought, that you can stop pissing about the camera and blame your own ass if it comes out good or not, both shooting with it, and editing, grading with it.  Well I do wish it had the AF 100's form factor but, this is the Camera where the Rubber meets the road thing.
Time to put up or shut up. It is here to take advantage of, and go out and do it! It really is that damn simple. Make It So, or find another job, or another hobby. Excuses are in the Past Tense with this camera with all the updates they plan in the summer to have you can install. Hmm, end of rant today! 

Those Sam Kolder transitions, though. Everybody is doing 'em now these days, all them zooms and twirls. I mean, maybe it can be done tastefully, but this was just tacky as hell, no? He's a wizard with handheld shots as well, which suggests that he knows how to use his entire body to minimise shake. Come on, Brandon, we know you are on here - do a workshop.

Agreed. I hope they do implement each and every item we mentioned.  That camera would be the Holy Grail for many of us.  Well, at least until the next Holy Grail.  Right now, I am looking forward to using the GH5 on my next feature, and honestly, I will be content for quite some time.
Keeping up with the Cinematic Joneses is both expensive and time consuming.  I get more accomplished when I am not researching the next big thing.

I really like that but forgot to look at the quality of the footage, so will have to watch it again with the sound down. I can see a precedent being set with this video - great stuff
