  1. Yeah no IR pollution and build in ND's are a great upgrade. Too expensive for my budget right now, but I will probably pick one up in the future.

  3. Well I am not joking, this topic is for best image. (I owned these 3 camera's, and that is what I personally feel).
  4. The c100 is a handy camera, but the image is nowhere near 5D III RAW, I even prefer the c300 I image to c100 II.
  5. Well I am moving away from Premiere, as resolve gets better with every release. And when I am working with RAW files, Resolve outperforms Premiere. + the rendering is much faster then Premiere. I do miss warp stabilizer as the stabilizer in Resolve is not that good yet. And perhaps adjustment layers, those were fun too. So at NAB they will probably announce resolve 13, and I am sure it will have some amazing ugrades or features.
  6. BDM4350 yeah it has PIP. But I can only choose 3 formats. And none of them are good.
  7. Hey, So I bought a 4K 43,5" monitor. But it seems it is a bit too big. Is it possible to rescale the screen so it only fits 32" of the 43,5" screen? If so, how to do it? Thanks!
  8. Thanks, Yeah i used a ronin m, and yes I am not a fan of the sony colors. Only in slog2 I am getting decent colors. no I dont expose 5d iii raw to the right. I like to expose my camera to whatever I see with my own eyes. In most cases it means exposing to the left. So a ETTL camera should be a good fit for me.
  9. Yeah tried lots of settings. First video with the a7s ii though, but I think ETTR cameras are just nothing for me.

    A7S II NYC

    Hey, I visited NYC in winter last year for a week and I brought my A7S ii, and made this small travel video, made the edit a bit more narrative allthough it was unscripted footage. Also used a DJI ronin-m, and pp was mostly pp4(which is kind off a hassle, as I like colors from slog2 way more, but the noise at night from slog2 is even worse, however I could have used a stop more as the DR at night is high when you have these building lights, but general rule of A7S is to ETTR 2 stops , so maybe in the end I should have used slog2 and denoised it).   11. Yeah too bad the fs5 is only raw externally. The c500 is kind of the same dilemma. Internal raw would be great. Which makes Red or blackmagic appealling to me. The 5d iii raw is my favorite image beneath 3k, if only it would do 4k, more DR, less noise and some more slowmotion RAW options. But it does not seem to be happening anytime soon.
  12. What camera, IQ wise would you guys suggest if the budget went up to 5K? ursa mini 4.6k?
  13. Nah I dont think anybody wants the camera to do the thinking for them. (for like interviews etc it might be helpfull, but for narrative work I dont think so)
  14. That would be the day, but I think they are holding RAW back because of the higher up camera's. It would make higher end camera's obsolete for me and a lot of others.

  16. I never heard about quick sync. So I googled it, it seems it is not compatible with Davinci Resolve nor Adobe Premiere/after effects. So Im thinking going AMD ryzen all the way in a couple of weeks.

  18. Yeah maybe without the squeeze effect of anamorphic it maybe does not make any sense.
  19. What is the widest lens you can use with this adapter? (I like the 35mm-50mm on full frame)
  20. The F35 is indeed a great image (but for me way too bulky + every camera I can find is a PL mount and I have zero PL lenses)
  21. You can order one without the fishing line(no flares, but thats not what im after). I wanted to try one of these cinemorph filters, but you might save me 50$ to test it out, as I did not like the Vid-atlentic clamps.
  22. I thought so too. But I did a side by side from my 5D III RAW and my bmcc 2.5K and I found that the 5D III preserved more data in its highlights. (the BMCC probably more in its blacks). But after some tests I decided to keep my 5D and sell off the BMCC. Cause I just liked the look more then the look from my bmcc. But thats is just my opinion.
