We can live in hope, but Canon making a market leader is a stretch, making it affordable is dream territory.
Still, if those specs did somehow drop into some kind of $5-6K mirrorless body... Couple it with the F2 zoom and you'd be set for life!

Ahhh... i didn't know Canon's future depended on one specific town?
There are literally 100,000s of pro photographers shooting with Canon/Nikon, worldwide

I think I might be becoming a Fuji fan. The XT3 is the first Fuji camera I have owned, and I'm left wondering how they kept under my radar for so long. It's honestly one of the most fun to shoot cameras I have ever used. So much so that I don't care about any of the upcoming cameras... they don't excite me. That might change as more details come out, but for now I'm curious what the XH2 will bring, while the new medium format beast... the GFX-100 sounds very interesting also.
I heard recently that Fuji have become the number two mirrorless brand worldwide. After seeing how aggressive they are with the advancements in this newest offering, I can't say I'm surprised.

I'll just hang my 6 pack of "work" beer on it

Hope to make some time to play with this bad boy we just added to the collection.
Also picked a second body and another Ninja V. I think these cams play nice as B-cams to the C200. Moreso than the 1DXMK2... if that makes sense.

Why say it is worse when you also can show? I"ll believe it when I can see it.

Only if you need controlled motion, in my case it's not worth the extra cost, I only use it for a few slides troughout the weddingday and then it's just fine to manually move the slider.
That only works in the beginning of the day.

You're still able to post, jon! I thought you'd well and truly put your dick in the hornets nest earlier

It was clearly a tongue in cheek joke ffs.
I'll leave you to it... wasn't attacking you in the slightest.
I like this forum... you've done a good job... but you have seriously thin skin... it is obvious why manufacturers don't reach out to you and it's nothing to do with "telling the truth"... you're just way too erratic and emotional.
This is not good in 4k. Same as canon

It's called a MeFoto travel tripod... Surprisingly sturdy for the size (I think the mobile phone camera made it look smaller than it is). Though the wing will be on a bigger Manfrotto at weddings.

I use primes in these circumstances:
1) Unmanned locked off camera? Perhaps I might. As then a zoom or a prime, doesn't matter, I'm not changing it!
2) When darkness sets in and I'm forced to
Otherwise zooms are more convenient for the run and gun nature of the day.

No worries @jonpais, something about camera talk seems to bring the demons out in people ?
I'm gonna try and avoid all talk other than trying to better my skills and knowledge.
On a side note, I just took delivery of an Edelkrone wing, oh damn, this is a cool slider! Gonna be a fantastic tool to keep constantly attached to the tripod.

Everything shown so far with the xt3 and that lens has looked a step above... very nice

Short film created by Nick Thomas, Calgary based Director of Photography. The entire film was shot on the FUJIFILM X-T3 with only the FUJINON MKX18-55mmT2.9.

Purely for size... I can leave the wing on the tripod and lock it to it's smallest size (about 7")... I also don't like to rely too heavily on anything that can go wrong, like using apps or motors. (Though I assume you can use the plus with the motor?)

I'm a former wedding guy & while I experimented with primes I found zooms far more versatile. During the years I did wedding video I mostly used 5D2 or 5D3 with the 24-70mm F/2.8L & 70-200mm F/2.8L classic wedding lenses.
