Seriously just give it to a cinematographer to SHOOT THINGS WITH IT. For the love of god I've seen some incredible stuff from the Kine 4K after it came out. It's a goddamn camera, show us some footage. I want one of these cameras, but I can't commit to it until I see at least one frame of skin tone!

Holy crap. That's horrific and a huge mistake from Canon. The rolling shutter on the A6300 is TERRIBLE. The fact that this is worse blows my mind.

Good audio but pull that camera back man. More like the shot a 2:28, the point of the video is to show the positions, and the close framing makes this hard to follow. Also add a second fill light.

What's wrong with the ISO selection? It has the ISO button right by the shutter and you can set it to AUTO if you want to.

It's the crop factor that really kills me, I expected a lack of log and the inferior codec. Honestly a Mark 3 is a much better option compared to this due to raw. Bring on the D750 successor.

1) Practice! Don't shoot crop mode. 2) When in video mode hit the info button and go into the monochrome picture profile and adjust it from there 3) D750 does not have a hack at this time, and it does not seem like it will. The D7000, D800 and a couple other nikon cameras have the same internals and are the one's that currently have a hack.

Hack was very stable and fun to use. Unfortunately it does not play back in camera at it's highest bitrate. D800 was a great camera for me, except for annoying moire issues. Have you also tried the older 28-70 2.8D? Built like a tank and used on film productions like the Bourne films.

Hell just give me a a D750 with 1080p 10 bit 422 and it would be an instant buy. I already love the color from the camera.

I would love to see a updated D750 with 4K. It really is a great camera with simple controls. Yeah I love my a7r 2, but the length of time it takes to switch from photo to proper video is a pain. I really wish they enabled you to set a flat picture profile for video while using standard for photos.

The Tokina is a completely different look than the Nikon which you might enjoy. If you find a good copy it has a much smoother focusing ring than the Nikon, even if it has a shorter throw. This was shot entirely with it on a D800. Not many other options for that mount for Zooms. If it's in your budget the 24-105 is an option.

Fixed it. And no I did not make a commission. For a review I can use 4K footage in resolve with a LUT and multiple layers of A7r 2 footage and playback is clean. I'm not shilling, I honestly think this is a good deal.

Why the hell would you use LOG? Log is for those that have time to grade in post.

I've been working on some custom S-LOG settings that I enjoy. Will post here this afternoon.

1) What camera are you using? If you don't mind the focus direction get Nikon Ai-s lenses, they work on everything. If you have mirrorless, a Canon FD set can be had for very cheap. Everything else is outside your price range.

Why don't you import them into Resolve and turn on proxy's?

Agreed, RED can look great, but this video does the camera and sensor no favors.

It will handle the D750 fine. I doubt it would be able to handle whatever the GH5 outputs. It would really help if you listed your price range. Currently I'm running: i7-5820K at 3.7ghz AMD Fury X 64 GB Ram Editing off of 2 1tb SSD's in Raid.

Really you want to talk censorship? Trump has directly threatened reporters and the media that if he's elected that they would come to regret it. I'm voting Hillary/3rd party because of Trump's incompetent foreign policy and his stance on Gay marriage rights. I want a liberal justice added to the supreme court. They are both horrible people that I don't want in, but I have to chose based on who I think will benefit the country most in office.
