Here’s a bunch of stuff I’ve shot, graded and edited for music videos between 2012-2018. 
The shots in the reel not done by me are the drone shots. 
 
For you camera nerds, I used......
Sony FS700, FS5, FS7, F55, A7SII, A6500.
Panasonic GH3, GH5. 
DJI X3, X5R. 
 

I will be, provided not any last minute changes of plan.

A few test stills showing some daylight and mixed lighting - I also posted a couple different exposure of shot to show clipped highlights. I have finally developed my node structure in resolve to a powergrade with the olpf, the hue passthrough and my extra contrast added after GHa in LAB colorspace. Seeing as I how I haven't convinced work to invest in Pansonic(they use sonys sadly) I will hopefully have my first personal shoot coming up to really put GHa through its paces. Some of that video is dreadful... the filter is clearly smeared from rain.

Just realized that F-Log footage basically just is nothing else than Rec2020 gamut with a LOG gamma - kinda similar to what HLG does.
Makes it perfectly compatible with ACES colorspace. Just need to apply a curve and have filmic looking footage with some great color.
 

Now I'm even less sure which camera to choose (BMP4K or X-T3)...
BMP4K footage doesn't work in ACES at all. The red channel oversaturates way too much and I don't think any IDT (CTL) developed by Blackmagic in the future can help - unless they change their color science...

Yh, seems like the ProRes footage is free of any sharpening and noise reduction as well. Really promising.

Unless the gh5 spits out raw and bypasses the built in noise reduction and sharpening I would be surprised if indistinguishable could be achieved. I'd imagine a very well made lut could get the colour close however and that would be most welcome regardless ?

This is lovely. It does have a similar mojo to it's predecessor.  The colours look a lot richer. I like this  A much better footage than I have seen so far.  I would let this camera settle in the market before deciding on picking up one or not.

P4K EC beta

Has somebody seen any footage with sharpening set to something below 0?
On the P4P I have to set sharpening to -2 and codec to H264 to have the least amount of sharpening without blurring detail. At -3 fine detail and textures in shadows are messed up (like the Mavic Pro does) and an overall blur of low contrast textures when set to H265.

Maybe DJI fixed these issues...

I doubt it.

Somebody tried denoising the ISO3200 footage?
Works extremely well and looks way better than anything I could even achieve on my GH5 using ISO1600 actually...
