  1. Hello, Yes, I would like to see your ungraded tiffs. They're all excellent
  2. @mercer, @DBounce and others... Those Canon Cinema cameras are quite interesting (with the C100 being in low price) - be it 4K or 1080p. I'm torn between both - P4K or Canon Cxxx... What's an enthusiast gotta do, lol? ?
  3. Looks good, and on an eos-m. 'scuse my asking, what lens used?
  4. Exactly flip 21. And you get the Studio version of Resolve free (just like they did with BMCC). At 1300, that's a bargain!
  5. This would be a great birthday present for me - September. I'd preorder, but I'll wait 'til the dust settles (wishlisted at bhphoto). I still love my super 16 wonder. Fun Times Indeed!
  6. Looks like the first Canon EOS-M without the shutter grip. Interesting. No hate here on my end. ?
  7. I couldn't believe it either. After many years/times it was a yes, no, yes, no, maybe, no, yes, n... Well, I think It. Is. Happening!!! We'll know by Monday.
  8. Nice shots you did mercer, especially kaylee - I really like the Ansel Adams feel to it. Here are my shots with b/w in it w/ BMPCC - Sigma 19mm and Cosmicar 25mm lenses. I've always wanted to do monochrome stuff. They're so nostalgic.
  9. This is my first time posting anything. So here goes. Shot it in November using said cinema camera and Cosmicar 25mm f1.8. Graded via Resolve 12/14 w/ Filmconvert and basic grade. Happy Holidays. https://youtu.be/j8VDB-xYKhs
  10. What lens setup did you use, both anamorphic/taking? Good shots you did. How did you manage to get it to pop in low light (f-stop)? Thanks for sharing.
  11. Has anyone tried this on the BMPCC or possibly the G7? I'm curious to know. I know that they have the Fujian 25 and 50mm. I'm wondering if it's the same as said two Fujians. Would it be hard to focus, and will it have the blurs on the side? What says all?
  12. It's a very impressive little camera. Even though I haven't done anything yet, I'm happy with it.
  13. Tried the lite version, still some crashes on my part, have to save my projects. So it's a wait and see in my end.
  14. For anyone that's interested : Avid Media Composer First is out now. Not an alternative to Davinci Resolve IMO, but it's a start
  15. Even the Micro Cinema Camera has 60p in 1080p form, and that was unveiled, what, 2 years ago. I agree with the others, impossible for a 4K Pocket to out in the woodwork, but one can dream ::wink, wink::
  16. I second that motion. An CorelDraw user, 20 years - never looked back. The PhotoPaint could be better, but I love the easy way to do graphics. Which use to be Serif... as in Serif Draw? Interesting, I may look into their photo/graphics package. Well finally! After being told that it would launch the final part of 2015 or beginning 2016. Nevertheless, I look forward to it. Lots of great things popping up.
  17. Ah, that Sigma is really epic, photography and video-wise. I enjoyed it.
  18. That's really cool. Mind my asking, what lens did you use?
  19. I've been interested in that too, and wanted to know what lens that could take the adapter be it that said adapter thread is 37mm. And this isn't only Moondog Labs, there's another one called VM Lens (in Anamorphics, too).
  20. I concur with everyone here. It's not worth quitting over it. I don't post much here, but I enjoy coming here and other sites dedicated to indy and enthusiasts in video/filmmaking. The Panny GHx years intrigued me in the early 2010s and it was you that made it possible for me to try out videography. Opinions are just that... opinions; everybody has them. Creativity trumps all of that.
