I think some people tend to think for manufacturer way too much, its not they are giving you the profit they earned, or help you with your business in anyway beside just selling you the camera.

If you want full Sony experience native lens is the way to go! 3rd party & adapter lens sometimes can drive you mad with those little glitches/imperfection.

Since I am that guy who got hired to fly drone so a P4A is more logical to me (some fly me across the country to fly drone), at least P4A look less toy like than Mavic Pro which I sold (or Air/Spark which definitely look like toy). My previous drone is Inspire 1 with X5 which is a real hassle to carry to remote location. And Mavic Pro II is rumored to be more heavier/bigger than Mavic Pro that will make mobility even less, may be Mavic Pro III will finally have 1" sensor in a more reasonable size/weight?

Since mavic ii will come with 1/1.7” sensor I bought p4a with 1” sensor for much cheaper price

Well I upgraded my Mavic Pro to P4 Advanced with recent specials and after hearing Mavic 2 only have 1/1.7" sensor, the image quality difference in low light is pretty big and so as as shooting 50P which mavic quality is really bad.

Excellent Video David Btw Viltrox will release their EF-EFM speedbooster in a month or two, and price will be similar to their current M2 adapter... so if you want to sell yours for min loss it is the chance from their fb page

The next version of Mavic Pro will have 1/1.7" sensor which is bigger than the current 1/2.3" but still much smaller vs 1", guess 1" is too big (or power hungry) even for rumored bigger size for Mavic Pro 2, hence I bought a P4A on special (few hundred dollars off + further 10% discount) recently, the image quality totally blow my Mavic pro away!

I think it could be the cpu they use for lower end is not fast enuf, there are people saying the old XA2 is much faster in AF and general response vs the new XA5

Only for Camera with APP, Cameras like A9/A7RIII/A7III dont have APP anymore, so no more 30min hack to them. I personally bought a bunch of those app, the timelapse app is what I used the most, sucks you can't use it on new Sony cam anymore argh.

I just base on it on calculation, though I need to test it vs gh5s regarding crop factor to see which have narrow view. EOS Utility v. 3.8.20 works with M50 on tethering

I did a interview shot with c100mkii and m50 in 4k after the trip in japan.. sadly c100 @ 1080p is still sharper than m50 @ 4k, but m50 was using efm 11-22mm @ f4 and 2 c100mkii on 50mm stm and 35mm usm both stop down to f2.8 I think, so lens might have a play there. Colour wise it is still got canon look which looks good without any grading, easily fit with c100 with just minor touch.
