I know a few people got GH5 instead of A7III this year.. in fact there is still large number of people doesn't know about A7III at all! On some MV meeting I went to when they asked what camera i have they have a blank look when I told them I got A7III, but they respond when I said "and GH5s" with expression of oh I know that camera look.

It’s good to see people who are determined what they want when they are young, I’ve seen too many people waste their youth doing stupid things (me included lol) Anyway i m passing EOS-R like my previous reply, gonna rock with m50 to the c100mkiis until canon have something better. The rolling shutter on m50’s crop 4k is bad for any action scene, but for more stationary object it can match c100mkii’s 1080p well.

You can transfer RAW to Smartphone?! Finally! I can transfer GH5S RAW to phone and the magnitude of stuff you can do with RAW photo is a lot vs jpeg. EOS R is the 2nd cam that can transfer RAW to smartphone, but with much bigger resolution it will take a lot longer to transfer I suppose

Well you can get lens adapter with variable ND, so that just leaves the XLR

Time to ditch my M50 and A7III (before used price crash) to get this along and Panasonic FF Sony reigning days as FF mirrorless are truly over. I predict back single digit market share for Sony.

spec list from PV Guess AF is still weak but internal 10bit and RAW is a go? That will be the cheapest FF cinema camera for sure! 5D RAW can say good bye after all Wonder if A7SIII still use CDAF if they use same sensor? That should sorta confirms 24mp for a7siii since no way this will be a 12mp camera.
