  1. Even if they do come out with the LX, its not like the NX1 is a bad camera and I can't see Samsung isolate or drop off their firmware updates with the product and create an issue with many people moving to Samsung for video and not getting support.

  2. If you look closely at the BTS video around the 44 second mark, you can see that she's performing for a bunch of cardboard cut outs in an empty arena. I guess the priority really is the tv audience.

    Samsung nx1 Price Drop

I bought it for 1500€ two months ago but i'm not upset, it's the tech market. But i bought it for video, so i will be upset if they plan to release a NX1-LX with better video features after they said they listen their customers about frequent firmware update. Most people can't spend 1600$ in a new body every six months.

  5. I think it'd be too early to get a new nx1 model, but everything is possible with samsung. I'm just happy that I found a nice price on nx1 two months ago, similar to the present one. Otherwise I'd be so upset, now.

  7. I feel the more you shoot, the more ideas you will have. You will become familiarized with your equipment and learn what it can do and what you can do with it. Sometimes, I will just drive out to a nearby state park and do some lens tests. The physical act of messing with lenses and equipment frees my mind to concentrate on ideas. Don't concern yourself with rigs or follow focus, just throw a lens on you camera and press the little red button. You'd be surprised at what you can do with just a camera and a lens. If you're feeling fancy bring a small monopod with you so maybe, just maybe you can get some b-roll. And if you're really lucky, the way the sun hits a puddle and the reflection of the flare off the rippling water might just inspire a shot. Sometimes something as simple as a shot can inspire an entire concept.
