    PROJECT SUMMARY:

For 20 years (1993-2013), I got used to go with my girlfriends to New York, and set my love memories on film...
WOMANHATTAN is a film from my point of view as an obsessive director: the obsession of filming my girlfriends in New York, the obsession of magnifying them, the technological obsession of finding the camera shots that best reflected my feelings.
WOMANHATTAN is a trip back in time, before and after 9/11, where I take us to the heart of New York and its urban landscapes, my thoughts on the passing of time, on love and the possibility of being free one day from my obsessions, and living fully the present and my love life. To discover my world here is the teaser :

Hey Seb,

You seem to have some issues with your telecine.

If you are doing it yourself and your target is 25p, then set your projector to 16.66 fps and record the screen using PAL 25fps interlaced. If your projector does not have precise speed control settings, vary the speed until the position where the flicker vanishes.

Then in post deinterlace and slow down to 24p if needed.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice John. Here it's just a rough telecine, it will be professional done later, when we will have the budget :)

      Hi everyone!
I wanted to showcase my passion project "The Night Knows No Shore" here on EOSHD. I've been a long time reader of Andrew's blog and it was his footage that inspired me to get an Iscorama a long time ago.
After doing tests with it for a while I came up with this idea for a movie. And you can now see the result on youtube:

It's a project made by one single actor and one single crew member (me) with one single focal length (a Canon FD 85mm 1.8) and one single focus anamorphic lens ( Iscorama pre-36). Don't expect much action. It's a slow film with lots of monologues and no real plot. It's about one young man's thoughts on society, religion, art, philosophy, life in general. Have a look. If you don't like all the "pretentious" talking, maybe you like the footage. Let me know what you think. If you have any questions, just ask. Enjoy!

I'm selling a copy of the smallest Anamorphic lens in the world, the Baby Hypergonar 1.75x. It's been said there were only about 50 of these ever made. Designed by the OG, Henri Chretien, and made in 1957.
It is in great condition. Comes with a little black carry case. Really lovely copy, no scatches, fungus, haze. Body is in great shape. There are a few small coating blemishes on the front, but they are so hard to see I couldn't even capture them in the pictures, and they don't show up in performance.
Can be used by just focusing your taking lens or in combination with a single focus variable diopter. Neutral unique flares and beautiful rendering.
      - PRICE: $1500 USD
      - LENS NAME: Baby Hypergonar
      - CONDITION: Near Mint Optics, Mint Body
      - PAYMENT METHOD: PayPal
      - LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA, USA
      - FEES & SHIPPING: PayPal fees and shipping paid by buyer.
