At least I can be honest with my comments and stand by them.  Did you really use the "I wasn't talking about you card"?   This is how you lose credibility.

Please go read my past post.  I never posted my work or attacked anyone else's work.

@IronFilm sorry for calling you the audio guy.  I know you've put in time and are out making some good work.

Incredible all around.  I forgot to think about what camera it was filmed with.   The footage looks amazing.

Had a big gig last Sunday, first time using the 100 - 400 G master. Focus ring was surprisingly not aids. All FS5 @ 240fps in 1080p.
Hoping the A7SX gets 240fps in 10 bit like the fs5

One thing I know I have and that's talent.   Talent in creativity, photography, vision and getting the shot.   You can take that any way you want.

What?  This is crazy talk.  Right?   So now you don't trust a guy on Facebook's with a resume and links?
So you only trust people face to face?
This sounds like jealous snowflake,  "you don't have what someone else has" thinking.
I'm not a big shot director or cinematographer but people like you and @MrSMW motivate me to get to the big time just to prove a point.

The majority of the EOS is anonymous in nature.  This comes out of the mob mentality that base their opinion based on inner circle of influence.
Sorry but your post is weird and creepy just for the fact that you think you need to know who I am and what I look like. People downvote my comments, get confrontational, say I live in my mom's basement and then ask for my real name, company website and link to films/tv I've worked on. You don't see an issue with that?
I could very well be working on Stranger Things (before lockdown).  If so what would that prove about my comments?  or what would you do with that information?  I have no doubt someone would make a call to people they know to affect my standing on said show.

Just like most of us on here.

We will see.  I will go with Sony or Canon depending on which camera is better.  Maybe neither one if they are just spec cameras.  The proof will be in image quality.
Sony will have to jump in the 10bit world and 4K 60p crop is what we might get.  I think release dates will be 2 years apart with lots of firmware updates to keep people from jumping to a new brand.

If it takes 2-3 post without caps and someone repeats that I said something I didn't I'll use caps.
I clearly posted about the MFT, the GH5, it's cropped sensor and what I saw across You Tube.  I clearly posted that I've color graded GH5 footage but never shot it.   It really is clear what I've posted about.
Color or color issues are obvious for most cameras the GH5 has some. I pointed this out.  The GH5 has a bad codec and is over sharped, I pointed this out. The GH5 does have great specs. YOu can connect the dots or not.
I know and have done enough research on the GH5, color graded it's footage to know it's not worth the headache and doesn't match the specs people boost about.
The EOS is clearly about helping people, with out hype or fanboyism, select the best camera that works for them.

That's not how it works.  The reseller, whole sale world is much different than you seem to realize.  Everyone needs to make a profit and it's not selling directly to the local guy.
Case in point let's use a camera company. Let's use RED.  RED set the market based on the cost of traditional camera model and has stuck with it. They decided to charge a certain price and let the market adjust around their price.  They didn't panic and start slashing prices.
Black Magic on the other hand has a different business model.  Sell for less but sell more product.
Does it cost 300x more to make a RED camera?  No it doesn't.   RED can sell one camera package to Black Magic having to sell 6 to 9 to make the same profit.
Camera companies that produce lenses also have a different model than the ones that only sell camera bodies.  The smarter companies will offer 3 cameras at different price points with a wide range of lens selections.  They will offer a echo system that people can invest in.
I would be worried if I was Black Magic.  To survive the has to move a lot of product.  They can't all of a sudden come out with a $15,000 camera.  The lower priced cine cameras are taking profit away from Black Magic so much that they lowered the price of the BMP6K to $1,995.
Companies have to live or die by the price model from the past.   Canon or any other company cannot raise prices because parts cost more or tariffs are higher.  The Sony PS5 might be great and could cost $950 US but no one would buy it.
If Fuji goes under and also Panasonic that doesn't mean Canon or Sony's prices will go up.  We have to many camera makers as it is.

When?  This is crazy fanboy talk.
Of course any independent film can be called a feature film.  That doesn't help your argument.
The run and gun statement doesn't work for the P4K does it? Big an bulky when rigged out and no AF.
It's sad that advice is thrown around the EOS and people spend thousands on gear and get investors involved because someone said "The power of the GH5/S, the Pocket 4K, etc. is that you CAN use it for a feature and get great results."
Have some standards and support the DP's that suggest using cine cameras when they're called for.  I little homework and investment in time would get you much better results that are great.

I expect the A7S III to handily outperform the EOS R5 and EOS R6 for video.
10K Quad Bayer sensor (60 megapixel, 8K RAW, 4K Quad Bayer readout, no crop, good rolling shutter due to fast sensor architecture and multiple readout channels, a typical Sony strength)
Whereas EOS R5 is traditional bayer, lower megapixel count and likely high rolling shutter.
Also I can see on the codec side the Sony maybe doing something interesting with H.265 compressed RAW.
I think right now if I were to only choose one flagship it would be the Sony.
Doesn't mean I am going to bite the specs hype bullet though.
EOSHD during both these launches will be an ANTI-hype machine
Unless it is warranted and they put out a genuine marvel which is both practical to use not just with some dazzling high numbers on the box.
I can see the A7S III, A7SH or A7H or whatever they will call it being the new flagship for stills above the A7R IV as well.
There was a reason the A7R III and IV were just incremental evolutions.

The PS4 Pro is priced at $399 right now.   Spec wise that's what the PS5 has to be better than.
PS5 looks to be $599 and Sony makes very little profit on the PS4 as it is.
Do you think the PS5 is over priced for the specs it delivers ?  $599 is way under what a PC gaming system would be.

Sounds like the A7SIII might lead the market in ability and image quality.

Prices are not going up from where they've always been. The A9 was priced at $4,500
Nikon was charging $5,000 for a DSLR back in 2001.
Sony will always have it's $2,000 to $4,500 price range.
The S1H was priced at $4,000 for it's hybrid camera.
Has the market and pandemic been going on since 2001? Nope.

Same prices we had back in 2017 when the market was hot.
    Sony A9 was $4,500

With cameras, and a rapidly shrinking market I think that has to be expected.
I hope this is a huge success and maybe in ten years time i will be able to afford a 5th hand one (if I am still circling the sun by then).

Isn't Sony just cannibalising their A6400 with the "vlogging" RX100 clone?
    Seems stupid.
Panasonic are probably hurting sales of the GH5, G90 and more besides with the GX9-clone for vloggers.

I was over generalising when I said online.  My main point really was that there have been so many big companies that have fallen in the last decade, and they fell mainly because customers stopped using them.  So whilst we are sad to see them go, they went because we stopped being their customer.
Obviously like Olympus, they could have done more to keep us as their customers.  But sometimes, its impossible to adapt.  I can't see how Blockbuster for instance could ever have survived the changes and yet still be true to what they were.  Its part of a past that is no longer relevant now.
Could Olympus have survived if it expanded its camera line up to fullframe.  Maybe, but I'm not convinced.  Canon and Nikon dominate the Photography side with Sony making big inroads; Panasonic is trying to get a foot in the door, but it remains to see if this continues and isn't just a one off.  How many camera companies does the industry need, to keep each one profitable?

The crop factor stills reduces the market for a stills camera, because full frame is the pro standard.
It doesn't mean to say there is not a place for S16 and M43 in cinema, or even in stills.
It does mean to say that customer choice is important and Olympus never stepped outside the one sensor size fits all bracket.
