  1. Looks amazing I want it lol
  2. True though most of these companies could be using the Sony sensors to their max potential. Really only Z cam is sort of fully utilizing them and sort of Black magic.
  3. PDAF with AI human and object tracking We are like a year out from a perfect camera I think ? So close
  4. Does this mean Canon is going to retake its spot as king of the hill.
  5. My only wish is that Fuji had 10bit H264 or prores. The 120p is great though as long as your scene is fairly well lit.
  6. 50s are even cheaper with more modern lenses it seems. But yeah not sure why exactly. I am guessing back in the film camera days most cameras came with a 50mm. More versatile than 85mm I feel like. Can sort of be used for wide shots as well as portraits.
  7. maybe everyone is keeping their 85s
  8. It seems like the Z6 IBIS is better than the XH1 as well as the auto focus. XH1 isn't shabby though especially as you can get them for sub $1000 now.
  9. Though if he doesn't want to deal with RAW, the Nikon D800 can be had at that price.
  10. not sure what that has to do with my post
  11. Makes little sense to me. Its not like 4k 60p on a small sensor like this will take away from bigger sensor sales.
  12. No IBIS tho Canon lenses with IS are pretty much as good.
  13. I think a RED becomes a no brainer at some point. But if buying one seems like a risky investment to you than it probably is a bad idea. I am not saying buying a RED won't help you land jobs, but on the other hand if you aren't a great DP its not going to change that. I was looking at a RED ONE, still would consider it. Power hungry SOB though. Much rather have an URSA mini G2 at this point.
  14. IBIS you mean? There is really nothing. Probably the Nikon Z6. The Panny S1 is amazing IQ wise but auto focus isn't really passable. A7III IBIS isn't great, auto focus is pretty damn good though not Canon EOS R level or A6400 level.
  15. Yeah just save for an A7S or get an XT2 or A6300 or XT30 maybe. The Nikon D750 is a good option too if you want full frame. Not as good in low light as the A7S but better colors and probably less rolling shutter(can't confirm that)
  16. Yeah Sony really needs to start doing 4k 60p, even if its only 8 bit. That with their new focus tracking will make them king of the hill again.
  17. Yeah I usually think of things in terms of S35 as that is what I have shot with most of my life. Which is why I was speaking of the field of view of the 12mm on a S35 sensor rather than full frame.
  18. wait, a 12mm lens on an APSC camera would give the FOV of 18mm on full frame right? But 12mm on the Micro is a 2.8x crop right? So the field of view would look like a 28mm would on an APSC camera Unless my understand of this is really poor lol
  19. Yeah a 12mm is equivalent to a 28mm on APSC, which is definitely doable handheld with a strap. I'd probably go with an SLR magic. If you want to remain small the speedbooster adds extra weight. An olympus 8mm 1.8 would be cool. 18mm APSC equivalent. Pricey tho
  20. I like 50mm on full frame a lot not so much apsc. Though 25mm on the Micro would be a 70mm equivalent.
  21. plus maybe a pana 25mm 1.7
  22. The 12-35 2.8 would probably be nice. 12 isn't even that wide on the micro tho.
  23. Yeah I am sure its full curve in 8 bit. But the GH5 is known to have artifacts when shooting vlog in 8 bit. Obviously it works for you though.
