I love the feel and use of EM5II, so I'd willingly endorse Olympus cameras for doc filmmaking.  And if IBIS matters to you, you can't do better.
I currently own a GH5 and would switch back to Oly if I wasn't in the middle of a client gig that requires 4k 60p.

I picked up a em1 ii at a similar price thinking i would play with it for a few weeks then sell it out for a gh5.
I have not compared directly to a gh5 (Andrews comparison mentioned above would be most welcome).
In all honesty i have been so impressed by both video and still quality that im reluctant to let it go without a good go on a gh5 first. The colours are leagues ahead of the gh4 and even the gx80 i would say. The flat profile (along with a gentle tiffen ultra con or black pro mist) contains reasonable dynamic range and seems to hold up well to pulling around.
Im going to film a short in a couple of weeks with the em1 ii and have not felt the need to try another cam for the job.
Maybe i need to meet up with a gh5 owner or rent one to be sure.. But i think ill be hanging on to the olympus for a while yet

Don't worry about the codec on the E-M1 II, it's very good. Minor differences between that and the superior 10bit on the GH5.
And that price is very good indeed.
The flat profile can actually be graded quite a lot before it falls apart.
I should get my GH5 vs E-M1 II comparison shootout article and footage out, it's been a while and I haven't got round to it!

If you want 4k 60p go with the pana. Anything else the Olympus at that price is a steal. If you're talking about V-log just shoot Oly's flat profile and be mindful is 8bit and not so gradable, but colors overall are beautiful. If you plan to get the look in camera you have a great deal in your hands. The only thing missing is video backup to the second card but that's personal preference. I would take it if I got an offer like this.

You just don't "patch" 4K video, are you nuts?! It needs different hardware, thermal solutions, and a lot of different things. 4K isn't just a name, is a very demanding procedure with much more information and needs top of the line processors, chips, cooling solutions, input/output, etc.
Also, I don't understand how you go from the 6D to C200, and back and forth! You have to know what you really want, access the market, and then go buy whatever works for you. An entry level full frame camera, and a middling S35 cinema camera are very far apart. Check the XC series, great little cameras there, or the JVC LS300, if you do not want to pay much.
the 6D you are describing for 2000$ would have cut 2/3 of 5D sales instantly. The problem was the 5DmkIV. It is a "lesser" (to a degree) video camera, so everything below that have to have much worst specs than a 3500$ - middle tier, to be honest -  photo camera.
In my opinion these cameras aren't true hybrids (so, I don't care), are 80-90% photo cameras, and that is fine with me, and I look elsewhere. The only big hope for Canon is the M series, and they are very far behind completion there too (and with new cameras such the 6DmkII, I do not see a real great M camera any time soon.)
P.S I just bought another NX1, 28megapxls and 1.5X crop factor. It also has 4K, 120frames slow mo etc.

How do you define creativity though?
Yes, if you film street photography style footage, a GH5 will offer more creative freedom than a fully rigged Arri.
If you are filming from a camera mount on a snowboard, then the GoPro will offer more creative freedom than a GH5
If you are filming fast moving skaters, then a DJI Osmo will offer more creative freedom than a GoPro
If you are filming the aurora, then a Sony a7s ii will offer more creative freedom than an DJI Osmo
If you are filming music video, a C200 will offer more creative freedom than an A7s ii
and on and on..... There is no one camera that offers more creativity for every type of filming.

Am I wrong with great aesthetic admiration for such unpretentious using of GH2 + Voigt 17.5 f0.95 ("cinematic") combination... even at just 720p?
(Need to say that I've found that CV 17.5 is the most usable and produce the most beautiful picture in whole m43 range of lenses, IMHO.)

More of a vent than anything and I know Panasonic are just as bad but....
All I wanted was a little travel camera.....
I thought to myself "I quite fancy an RX100 IV. Genuinely pocketable, vloggable, a bit of slo-mo (which I don't really have), slog2 so it can be pushed a bit more.....and I can have a play about to see if I can get my hardware controller to be Sony compatible too"
    Easy.
And then I started the, "Mmmm....the mark V though, better IS, touch screen"
"Yeah but its so much dearer"
    "We're into A6300 territory there"
"But then if we're going there, why not go a bit further and get the A6500"
    "No lenses though"
"Yes but we've got a few Canon ones and they can be mounted cheaply. And with AF too"
"Stop it now, its getting really expensive and way out of what we wanted"
    "OK, RX100 IV then"
"Mind you, the RX10 III does all of that and more and has a 600mm equivalent lens"
"Yes but now we're back in A6500 price range"
"OK, how about the RX10 II, its way cheaper and has NDs"
    "Great idea. Not pocketable though"
    "OK, RX100 IV then"
"You'll regret not getting the V though"
"Shut up, its too much to be paying for a tiny sensor as it is"
I've been like this cat for about a week now.

No way. Trying the request with the camera in AVCHD 1080 25p, change the mode to "misterious 200mbps" and the same corrupt file.

OK, I've got a camera in front of me now, so I'll give you the exact steps
    1) Press Menu button on the camera
    2) Go to the Setup menu
    3) Navigate to WiFi
    4) Select WiFi Function
    5) Select New Connection  -- (This may be where its gone wrong as you may have  been using your previous phone connection )
    6) Select Remote Shooting & View
    7) Camera screen will now be showing the Wifi glowing beacon thing
    8) Choose the SSID ID it is showing on the camera (Should be GX80-blah blah) to connect your phone or laptop to
    9) Camera will show message saying 'If you have not launched the smartphone application.....' message
    10) Load the html page into the browser of your phone or laptop
    11) Select 'Handshake'
    12) The browser will now display 'ok,GX80-xxxxx,remote,encrypted' (the xxxxxx will be your specific GX80 ID)
    13) Hit 'Back' on your browser
    14) Select 'Connect'
    15) The browser will now display 'OK' and the camera will display 'Under Remote Control'
    16) Wait until you see the live view image on the camera LCD
    17) Hit 'Back' on your browser
    18) Select 'Deploy Cinelike D'
    19) The browser will now display 'OK'
    20) On the camera display, the picture style will not be displayed (top left next to the Mode indicator)
    21) To restore Standard profiles, hit 'Back' on your browser and select 'Restore'
    22) The browser will now display 'OK' and on the camera display, the STD picture style will be displayed (top left next to the Mode indicator)
    23) Repeat 17-22 to switch between enabling and disabling Cinelike D

If it does NOT connect the first time, then just let it time out and repeat from the top. Once it has successfully connected it will store the connection and from thereon in will connect first time every time.
By the way, just to be absolutely clear, the quote of mine that you've used there relates to a different conversation regarding trying to guess at additional commands to get them working.
It has nothing to do with what I've shared regarding the Cinelike D stuff as rest assured I would not share something without testing that it didn't break my own camera first.
OK, well that sounds like if you got the handshake going then the camera is timing out, dropping its wifi transmission and your phone is falling back to a different wifi network and giving the 404 error because its connected to the internet while the page is referring to the address of the camera.
This is a positive sign as it should mean if you start the process again, the connection will have been registered and you'll be able to get through on the next attempt.

This is nice, but will be inferior to my new LUT, on which I am working - the Western Union LUT, which will make all footage look like the majestic 70mm footage from David Lean's classic Lawrence of Arabia. Payment will be accepted by my uncle, Karim, behind his cafe in Luxor.
