I ordered the vlogging kit. I like the portability and the camera has some nice features. I wish the lens was a little wider; however, the camera is pretty light and I can easily get the wide angle I need with a selfie stick.

I’ve not tested, but I expect the main effect would be a crash - same most features Adobe introduce.

I see both sides as well.
The way I view cameras is as a combination of features or attributes, so any camera will be good in some situations / for some types of work, but bad in others.  If you happen to do work that the camera is good for then the camera may be a good value for you, but if it doesn't align to your requirements then it wouldn't be a good value.  People are critical of Canon cameras, but they provide a set of features and traits that are valuable enough to some people that they're worth the money and Canon makes a sale.
I maintain that the reason people get so critical of cameras or of the choices of others is that they don't realise that the other person or camera has a different set of priorities, and people underestimate how different we are to each other.  I find my GH5 to be a good fit for me because the weaknesses of the camera aren't high priorities for what I do, but if you have a high priority on AF then it won't be a good choice for you and acknowledging that means I don't need to get upset when someone chooses differently to me.

This is a warning that many of you may already heed.
My experience: In the past I've learned to be wary of Amazon vendors.  Some will sell international versions of cameras that are not supported in the US, for example. Last summer my wife and I purchased two Samsung Gear Fit2 watches.  Mine stopped working the first weekend in November.  I sent it in. Samsung responded today that they cannot fix the watch because it is an international model and will need to be shipped to Italy for repair. This week I thought of purchasing a second X-T3 from Amazon rather than from B and H. I'm glad I didn't make that mistake.

You need to contact Amazon since you were not shipped the correct item. Amazon backs that guarantee, I've exchanged a lens that wasn't a US version and they took care of it promptly.
Did you register the serial # after you bought it, I've done that with stuff bought outside the US and got a warning about my address not matching place of origin.
    Good luck.

    ^ This! This.

Too often I see comments like "I own a Panasonic GH4" should I buy an URSA Mini Pro or RED Raven or Canon C200 or or or or?  When they're giving no context for their question whatsoever. Then when context does arrive... you realize they don't know at all what they're getting themselves into and should just stick with their GH4 and push themselves harder to get the most out of it! (like those folks who might only own the GH4 and a kit lens and think they should get a UMP next??)

I shoot primarily real estate profiles and events with the combo.  If timing follows past patterns, then an FZ2500 update should be announced within the next two months or so. I'd probably go for the FZ2500 update as well, depending on the FF's price and lens availability.

I really like the combo.  I used to use an A7sii with a Sony F4.0 28-135mm PZ lens and an XLR-K2M as my main camera and an A6500 as my primary combo. I still use the A7sii for low light. But I wanted something more traditional for a main camera. I thought about getting a Sony Z90 or a Z150, and I've always liked Panasonic. Hence, my decision to purchase the DVX200 and to move toward Panasonic cameras.  I like the convience and colors of an FZ2500.  I may purchase a GH4, GH5, or GH5s in the near future; however, I'm waiting to see what the camera announcement on the 25th has to offer.  My biggest complaints about the DVX200 are the LCD sucks outdoors and the internal Vlog is unusable because of banding.

I use an FZ2500 and a DVX200 on my shoots.  Once a Ninja V arrives, I think I'll be pretty well set ? for all my narrative needs.

I voted move to a sub forum, despite the obvious bias presented in the poll options.
Lots of forums have places for political discussions since they always tend to get heated. The arguments always go in circles since an internet argument isn't going to change anyone's opinion. Its also clear from reading through some of the recent threads here and elsewhere, some people really don't know or understand American politics (especially on a state/local level which had a huge impact on recent elections), our economy and our history.
As an American I fully support free speech. But I don't go to camera, Jeep, mountain bike, guitar and travel forums to read ill-informed political discussions.
