Not on mine lol, I literally have it here in my hands. In HEVC MP4 you can only shoot HLG, no other color profiles. In regular 10 bit 422 H264 you can shoot HLG or VLOG or any color profile.
You are right, i overlooked that 😂

You can shoot in HLG at 10 bit H264 as well.
HLG is only 72 mbps HEVC 4.2.0 in MP4 on S1..

Without a color chart and a custom white balance, we have no idea what is wrong with the colors. I assume you feel they don't match the scene as you remember it, but you are also changing the temperature, so this can have an effect.
WB was set to 5600k, and i corrected a bit.
But the overall color for me is to much on the yellow site for standard color conversion..

My current issue...
My PC could not handle the 4K coming from the Fuji XT3 so had to convert to pro res first.
It handles the Pannyboy 4K better SOOC, but struggles. Anything more or layers on layers etc and it just bogs down.
I need a new system and currently debating Mac mini m1 or Mac Book M1.
Laptop I think because I have an increasing need to work on the go due to changing times within my own niche.
My buddy has a MB with M1 and cuts 4k h265 files from Canon C70 in 4.2.2 like butter.
You maybe wait a M1X or so, with better performance to stay up to date for a longer time..and higher resolution

Test the 6K mode internal, with ACES color workflow. Resolve let me only render 4K, Gpu has not enough RAM 😏

That looked quite nice, but still had the 'video' look to me.
I wonder if everyone is so used to seeing stuff with the same look that people are now blind to it.
Here's some things that don't share the same look, for contrast.
Thank you. Ok when you compare Arri Alexa Classic( with some vintage lens ) with S1 and a 24-70 Tamron( that ads a lot of Contras ) i think as consumer we are in a good position for what we pay 😜

How’s the latency when shooting Prores to a ninja V?

I think thats DR in Vlog is top, Prores minimize the video Look

Was this prior to the firmware upgrade that brought the AF up to the level of the S5?
the wedding yes and with MC21 and 24-70 G2. But after firmware with 24-105 in moving situation is not as good as my A6400 ...

Yes, there's the odd miss if someone really runs at you and zig zags, but that's not a requirement for me.
With S1.
Right, never nail focus in shooting my kids or in the single weeding i made as photograph was a big hit and miss in run and gun... -

That's the main thing I have been testing this morning despite it being less than 5% of my needs on any job.
The short answer is as 'good'...or as bad as any native Panasonic lens.
That is actually a result in my book as the two previous Sigma lenses I have tried with the S5 have been less than stellar.
I'm actually looking at the Sigma 65mm f2 being my main video lens with this 28-70 being more for stills, but it will pull video duty also on every job, just maybe 20-25% overall.
I've tried it in both stills and video.
Nice bokeh/out of focus rendering, stills and vid.
Stills with the S5 are a given. AF just is not even a thought, - it just works.
Fairly static subject video such as people chatting, bride having makeup put on, a couple canoodling etc, is pretty 'good' using AF & face tracking.
As always with the S5 and anything Panasonic S flavoured, it's really only with forward (and backwards) motion it can become unfocused!
As with every/any bit of kit, I will never be 100% confident in it until I have shot it at multiple weddings, the ultimate real world test for any bit of kit!
To conclude, for my use case, so far it's a big thumbs up.
Thank you, thats the problem with DFD in video, but i had problem also with stills. You will never know if works or not. Today i have made another test with the C70 speedboosted and Canon lenses( i have a lot of them 😉 )and AF is very reliable and smooth...

I haven’t got that far with it yet...
My bread & butter is sunny outdoor weddings.
Yesterday it really clouded up but it’s in harsh and direct sunlight I need a camera and lens combo to work in all regards.
It’s my ‘yay or nay’ test as it were and if it works in those conditions, everything else is a given.
Having said that, I have bought this lens for hybrid work but more towards the stills side...but then it could be my video go to in 4K 50p in APSC crop mode equivalent of 42-105mm (suits me perfectly as 50-100 is my ideal focal length for my work) paired with the 24-105mm f4 shooting purely FF stills on another body.
I like my stills & video to having matching focal lengths for most of what I produce!
I’m not sure whether I like F4 for stills however...but DOF equivalent to my old Fuji XT3 and 16-55mm f2.8 so...
How is the performance in AFC with face detect ?

You can but I don't fully trust it. It's nothing more than digital interpolation, though admittedly brilliantly implemented using AI. I've steered clear of that kind of artifice so far, so I'd want to do a ton of testing before relying on it.
is upscaled 3.2 k to 4 k, on the FS5 at 1.3-1.4 x magnification was not bad, beyond was very digital.

Not the FX6. It has an essentially 4K sensor so can't do a 4K S35 crop (you can do 1080p).
Seriously head-turned by the camera though. You can use clear image zoom in 4k

C70 ... limited codecs ... no RAW internal or not ... adapter only recognizes three lenses ... yea great camera ...
You can use more lens, tamron 24-70 g2, canon EF 35 1.4, 16-35 2.8 III tested myself.
i think can use any EF lens...
great image, bit heavy and bulky..

Doesn't the Tentacle Sync Track E already do that? The only difference is there's no receiver (while recording). In fact, it's on SD cards, has a locking connector and timecode for syncing later.
Regarding this Rode though, I read the internal recording is 24bit, with a -20db pad, then converted to 32bit float in post (still not clear on the benefit). I think you'd only really clip that if you're shooting a Michael Bay movie.
The first Rode clips just when a person had a loud voice ☹️

On C70 surprisengly tamron 24-70 g2 was more quite then rf 28-70 or adapted ef usm lenses

How do you like the RF 35 on the R5 ?

On Ninja V you can record in 4K up to 60p max.
