Because we are not going to agree on pricing let's take the U.S one, it is 3.500 with 2.200$. = 37% less
If it is a trap, and full hype, and cripple hammered, let's just called it marketing and market and product  fragmentation!
Obviously I am not supporting the camera, I wouldn't buy a Sony even if they were free of charge..but I am trying to be realistic and I see a lot of marketing (let's say, traps) traps here for the uninitiated..
What would most vloggers think?
Tiny body that sees in the dark with the most blurry stuff at the background that always keeps me in frame, stabilized, and mostly in focus, and just need one battery per day. All these while is very similar to the super expensive and professional bigger camera while I got it for 37% less. Also. FULL FRAME! what a bargain!
They will have a kit lens and one cheap prime to make them feel pro, and that's it..
..that is my impression of this release, and have all the basic stuff for commercial success, and camera companies are trying to sell cameras and lenses. There is no shame on that..

Nowhere says "unlimited recording for the seasoned professional", you misunderstood the product..

The forum there had a very strong NX presence, I hope we can attract here most of that traffic, even thought there are too many hobbyists and newbies, which I am not sure if they are the right target group for eoshd, still, it is a possibility..

This camera doesn't seem to be marketed toward folks using extensive color correction or 30-45 minute runtimes for single clips.  Most content creators on YT, etc., probably record 30s to 5 minutes on most clips.

Do people expect to film 2 hour interviews with it? 

To what degree are folks creating travel videos, vlogs, and YT content filming for greater than 30-45 minutes at a single clip?  I'd imagine that is very small segment and within that segment they do it sparingly.

I am still waiting for the official local pricing, but it seems to me as perfectly fine for the targeted group, plus there are many more options up and down.

I think there are better cameras out there for what this camera is marketed for, but for those who've spent the last several years watching YouTubers gush about the A7Siii or the FX3 but couldn't afford one, I think this will be popular with them. I think we forget that the "famous" YouTubers are but a small fraction of those trying to create successful YouTube channels. There are millions of people on there trying to become the next big YouTuber but with limited resources. This is a camera that will probably appeal to them. They were probably ready to whip their credit cards out the second every reviewer said "it's like a A7Siii but for half the price."

eh, if you're rolling for hours (days even!) covering some random small business conference in a hotel that's only going to be put on YT (or perhaps even only used internally) then 8bit is perfectly fine.

I kind of still like the old Canon color look. Not accurate but super nice. After comparing the C70, P4K, and Panasonic S1 I definitely like the C70 clog3 with the manufacturer lut applied the best.

It is all personal preference at some point.

Yeah I am happier shooting Canon, Fuji or Nikon for stills. Why bother using a system you don't like unless its absolutely necessary to do so.

I think two bodies isn't a terrible idea if you can use EF lenses on the pana body with no problem. To me for stills an EOS R would do just fine. Even a Canon DSLR, 5D or 6d, have a great look out of camera, though they are lacking in lowlight against the newer options.

This is ridiculous advice because some may wish to sell whatever barely used camera they currently have (because someone in the comments section of a YouTube post stated that they had a friend who thought it was crap), skip the current generation of gear and wait for what the early shill reviewers with affiliate links and Squarespace ad sponsors, say about; the Canon R Crystal Ball camera or the Fuji Grail camera or the Lumix Goat camera.
Or I suppose you could just go out and use what you got…
