I posted this on the Blackmagic DR forum, thought it would be good information for everyone here as well. Upgrading from DR v14 Studio to DR v15 Studio has seem to broken the sound. Even new project sound would not work. All the meters were working. I tried changing devices in preferences, manual control, etc. It has taken me ALL morning trying to figure this out... It seems DR v15 can ONLY use a sample rate of 48kHz? I had to adjust this for my RME UFX before it would work. I am guessing this is required for all devices? Can anyone confirm this? I hope it will eventually allow higher sample rates, as DR v14 Studio was working before. Anywho, as of now, I have DR v15 Studio working again with my RME UFX. Though, changing the sample rate to 48kHz has no doubt broken my DAW environment. I guess I will have to change the sample rate settings back and forth for each app, sigh...

I got the Atomos Video Power Station on one of the B&H daily deals, should have bought two. It fits perfect on my rig via the 3/8" screw on my lens rail/rod mount.

Well, I'm an old stills film guy, so I don't remember movie film speeds, but I do remember ASA25, and 50 for stills. Actually, I bet I could find some ASA50 color film in the fridge bins, I know I have some 4x5 and 120, though those wouldn't be ASA25, nor 50.

I still miss the outputs from big pixel CCD sensors, they somehow always looked better to me than CMOS.

Does Olympus manufacture their own sensors? There are hints on 4/3Rumors site, about a new "super" Oly coming, that is much better than the previous model. Though, since this fab is a Panny/Tower Jazz coop, I now doubt it is for Oly...

Tiffen dfx software is now DFT. I have the expensive version for Resolve. As well as the standalone version for stills. I should try this...

Definitely want both your version of the variable ND filter and your version of a remote focus wheel. I have no idea on price...

I LOVE my GH5 and Metabones 0.64XL Speedbooster combo! I use it with mount adapted manual focus lenses all the time.

Wow, you are the man! Very talented indeed. I will take a 4x4 one. Is it available to be variable? Or just in stops? Since it is digital, there is always steps/stops as it isn't analog...

I think you might need to flash an upgrade to your Speedbooster. I have a Tokina 11-16mm, Metabones 0.64XL Speedbooster, and GH5, works good.

I just don't have the time to actually read the wonderful looking write up. Really wanting to, perhaps this weekend, though, wanting to see the new lizard movie with my niece, plus who knows what else will happen...

I too thought of the lightweight ones, however I still use my Manfrotto 504 with my GH5 rig, anamorphic, or non. Somehow, I have managed to carry it pretty much everywhere. Certainly is a drag though, especially being a one man band... I am pondering the new N8 Manfrotto head, and use the 504 as second cam setup.

Perhaps I am not remembering correctly... The new firmware release has Luminance Level set to 64-940 in 6k anamorphic HLG mode. This cannot be changed. Was this the same in the previous release? Not 0 - 1023 ? Is this changed?

I've viewed this thread on my 10.5" Ipad, and have to say, wow! MU better. My desktop is Win7 PC, color manged via Xrite i1 Photo Pro kit, using an NECPA272W. I am a long time stills experienced. I don't understand why it's so different. I have the color settings in Firefox set, and the test sites all confirm. Strange...
