A lovely American robin has made her nest by my front door, so i have declared a moratorium on using that door and the stairs that lead up to it haha
What if i wanted to put a lil camera there to follow her progress? I know you guys have these things – from Ring to more security type cameras. i know nothing abt them
i dont care abt the image i just want to see what shes up to w/o disturbing her lol

It appears to only be on videos uploaded at 1080p, not those with 1440 or 4K etc.
I could also be in a test group potentially..
Wow, the option has now disappeared for me!
It was on a bunch of videos I checked, but I remember specifically that it was on this one.  Have a look for yourself:
Maybe my feedback got me kicked out of the test group lol.

Just saw a new option appear in YT....

Some quick googling revealed that it's only for YouTube Premium (paid) membership, which I am a member.  Anyone else seen this?  Do we know what is going on under the hood?

kye no offense but you may talking this too literally lol. used car salesmen will not be 'replaced' any time soon, jobs that involve humanity as a necessity will be around for a long time. human teachers will always be very special. but – consider competing with a robot..........
heres two huge occupations for men and women in america
    truck drivers? – bad news
    waitresses? – not so bad
    kno what i mean lol

I did try PS Generative Fill on around 10 pictures that I wanted to remove stuff since a long time but it was just too much work and is crazy good especially if you just want to remove objects. It will just get better and better and will be applied to video too. Saving tons of tons of hours of work but also will make people loose their job.

Also being able to use a prompt will also speed up things tremendously like "replace the pink t-shirt with a white shirt"...

Not me.  My day job is in project management within a complex office environment.  As much as people are saying that AI will eliminate vast sections of office workers, with the complexity of office politics and "human behaviour" involved in most projects there's no way it's ready...

AI video just keeps on getting better and better:

The video to video feature is especially interesting, I could imagine a very rough video being made cheaply, then being heavily stylized to create a much more polished output for use in an advert.
A longer look at AI tools for video:

kaylee reacted to tupp in How do i key a teal puppet?
With a dark teal subject, it should be possible to remove a key green or a key blue background.  Many digital keyers come with parametric filters that allows selection of a precise keying range in regards to hue, saturation and luminance.
Of course, the same parametric controls can be used to key out other colors than key green or key blue.
If your camera can be locked down, you could use a difference mask.  In this method, one shoots the background without subject, and, then, with the camera still locked down, the subject is shot  in front of the background.  The difference mask then keys out any part of the image that is identical in both videos.  So, the unobstructed background becomes transparent.
Here is a video that shows a few other possible keying techniques using After Effects:

I'd also suggest a background that is a distant hue from the puppet and then just use a key of that hue to create the mask.   It doesn't have to be the exact opposite of the puppet, just distinct from it.  Tools like the keyer in Resolve can pick out quite specific hues.
Just be careful not to let any light bounce off the background onto the puppet or you'll have an un-natural halo on the puppet of the background colour.

Sounds like a fun project. I'd buy a cheap red tablecloth, hang it from the wall, and steam out the creases.

Great idea. I'm psyched about this latest EOS-M build but I need a little push to get moving with this camera.
I think the simpler the prompt, the better. I propose calling it something like the 'No More Camera Tests Magic Lantern Challenge', make the criteria that all entries be scripted, and leave the rest open to interpretation. And then we all share at the same time, perhaps at the end of May?

Hey friends, now with the latest built from Bilal and Dannes achievements before let´s get some Raw magic started. Thanks to our friend @ZEEK the latter are well reported, the former has been posted about here by our friend @QuickHitRecord The challenge would be up to us to make up. So what are your suggestions, what kinda challenge could that be? I think there are plenty Magic Lantern lovers and Canon owners. I got a EOS M for 75EU about a year ago and a 5D2 for 150. Still, I have not filmed anything with it yet. I feel pumped to try out my EOS M though with the latest built from Bilal, since even Danne seemed to like it.
Some 50D cats here? Put some dirty fungus M42 Meyer Goerlitz on your cam and give us that Keny Ty look but not in filthy 420 8bit but in gorgeous RAW glory! 5D3 queens and kings? Mercer, you go! Some keywords for our magic fun tour: experimental, 3min narrative, video essay with photographic beauty, cinema verité exitement, locked shots parade..camer
So all camera cats with the love for the some Raw image magic, let´s get our and your jazz on with magic lantern! 🙂

I dusted off my EOS-M today and loaded the new ML. It's feeling a lot more user-friendly than before. 2.8K with accurate monitor display? Heck yes. This is potentially an acceptable level of 'frustrating' and I might actually shoot something with it.
