Looks great. That little extra resolution is nice. Somebody wrote a while back that 5D3 ML Raw just makes them smile... and it's so true.

Well I do not agree with all of the above. It depends on what you are trying to do. I agree that shooting with a dslr is more fun, when shooting on vacation, or exploring new sites, event videos or weddings. But whenever your are shooting on a set, the lights are set, the grip is set, its all about getting that last 10% increase in quality for me, or trying to achieve it at least. The creativity for me atleast is what I do upfront the shoot (location,moodboard, storyboard, lighting,testing, as on a shootday...) I often quit watching some video's because they do not have that high end look to it (color,DR,bad grading, bad editing,...), and yet I know guys like Kendy are really great at what they do. But If you compare the quality between the t2I and a Alexa, its nowhere even close. I feel like its already outdated image quality wise. 
Would I go backpacking with a Alexa, No not really. Would I rather shoot a narrative with a dslr, no not really. 

The DSLR filmmaker community is funny. It's like "Gimme 8bit proxy, 10bit, RAW, Canon colour science, Log, 4K, IBIS, DPAF and HFR in one package, in A7S form factor, max 2500 bux. I need a silver bullet that covers all cinematography and videography scenarios but make it cheap because I'm not a pro and want to shoot flowers/cat in my garden with it. Also has to shoot on SD cards because Cfast is too expensive". 
There's no silver bullet for everything in cinematography. Every camera body and ecosystem has its compromises. You can hold out for the perfect dreamworld unicorn camera, or you can pick up one that fits your shooting style and then actually shoot something.
Also, the C200 looks awesome and exciting - and daaaymn, official 4K RAW on an affordable Canon frame, without the unreliability of hacking stuff. Had I not sprung for an UM4,6K recently I'd be throwing my money at the Canon.

I would go with the 4.6K, best option to have the PL mount. You could also go the FS5/FS7 rout and get a PL adapter, but for filming with professional glass and an easy to edit codec, the Ursa really is your best bet.

Not sure what you consider cheap, but the Ursa Mini 4.6k checks all of those boxes and more. No need for extra accessories other than batteries. The 5" screen is amazing so no need for an ext monitor if you're shooting by yourself.

Man, I'm going to start a company... I wonder if Canon will let Mercer Media Group finance a C200... hmm. 

4K 60p, raw, 120fps HD.... tasty stuff.

I was wondering if anybody got some good luts to share for the ursa mini pro? (I already got the Noam Kroll Alexa one, and franks instant cinema). But I feel like they are doing to much, lifting exposure, Adding too much blue. I know I can fix this in post. But I am looking for a LUT that I can use in camera that looks kind of natural.
The comet color one looks nice. But the pricetag is a bit much at this point.

Definitely. I almost think I should preface every opinion I have as... I'm a hobbyist with dreams and no real deadline. 

I think you forgot a few "smalls" ? But yes I completely agree with your statement. I don't mean to pat myself on the back here, but without shooting Raw on the 5D3, I never would have gotten an image close to what I've been getting. And when you're shooting completely guerilla style as a one man band... every little bit of IQ helps. For instance, I know this isn't the best image in the world, but I would never get this level of skin texture with an h.264 codec...

Even zoomed in, the actor's skin looks better than anything I've ever captured. 
So for someone like me, a shooter and colorist with a minimal amount of skills, and productions like mine, with a minimal amount of self-funding, to be able to do a minimal amount, or a simple but extensive amount of LUTS and still get an image that doesn't break proves just how effective Raw is for no budget productions. IMO. YMMV. 

The reason there is so much amazing footage and shitty footage from the GH5 is because it is an amazing but cheap camera.
 
Thus you have both skilled and total n00bs using it! Remember it is not all about the camera, but the hands using it.

Vid Atlantic is a pile of crap. Check Rapido, Raf, or rectilux if not Redstan. All 4 offer great solutions.

I'm pretty stoked about these. Nice that Forrest Schultz (and Dan) really nailed the coating and flare. These are the first relatively affordable anamorphics on the market with a proper 2 x squeeze in PL of EF. I'd love to hear your opinions on these. I know these are still high priced for independent film makers to purchase, but I think the price at rental houses would be very interesting for all of us.

Hi had a preorder on the 5k, canceled it and got a ursa mini 4.6k.
I had good experiences with blackmagic consumer services, they replaced my pocket in a week back then.

Having to ship your camera back and forth to china is a no go for me., If your BM camera break it s easy to replace/rent one to finish your production. If you plan to do serious work with your camera that something to consider.
I prefer the color science from Bm but the one from the terra is nice too.

How's the stabilizer? I've heard good things, but that was one thing that kept me in Premiere instead of Resolve 12.5.
I've been with Adobe for so long. It's what I learned on, and it's hard to break the habit. I'd love to move on though. Really hoping Resolve 14 is ready for the bigtime once the bugs are worked out.
Also be curious with how it fares with large projects with a ton of media.

I really don't have interest in this camera anymore. The URSA is too close in price with much better support. If I had plenty of spare cash I might have bought one to experiment, but for work? No, no longer the price/performance king.
 

I seriously considered the Kinemax...liked the image from that camera a lot...but found communication with both Beijing and Berlin a bit vague...not quite sure how else to put it....but if I was going to spend $10k on a camera, I was looking for more in terms of support and clear communication...I thought the image lovely though!

This update(audio, plugins and stabilizer improvement) is great and all. But I am really bummed out about the price drop from $999 to $299 for Resolve Studio version. I mean the resale value just dropped massively. I own 2 davinci dongles, and this hurts my wallet big time! This business is hardcore. 70% price drop over one night, I feel kinda f##**d by BM at this point. 

Yes I'd expect it to be more like double that...am excited for this camera, am hoping it's more a 'mini' Varicam than beefed up GH5
