  1. Well 100K is a huge budget for something like this. But the difference between the 1K and 100K is huge though ? Maybe youre not a tough critic, but maybe suffering a bit from blindness though. Just joking I don't like one the commercials, but this was a real smart marketing idea
  2. Yeah would be great if we could figure this out mounting it on a DJI ronin S, with a light lens.
  3. At some point Canon could release a new codec through firmware though. Not sure If they will though. But should they charge for such a firmware update (like prores example), I am sure a lot of people would buy the firmware update, and would also attract new customers to the C200 body as well. If they would do that, I might buy one as well.
  4. Is it the same power cable as for the blackmagic video assist 5"? As I already got a D-TAP to blackmagic video assist 5" cable, in that case I could screw a V-mount battery under the camera.
  5. Well my guess it will head south fast. Instead hitting 100 they might loose a couple of million users. When the best creators left vimeo, the community will collapse as wel. Too bad there is no half decent alternative. You could host your own videos, but vimeo is also a source of inspiration that you can quickly search in. I would need to search hours on youtube before hitting a decent vid, instead 5min on vimeo. So I am hoping vimeo will survive this and make vimeo great again. I know storage costs a lot, but there is waaaay too much crap uploads on there. They could create a points system, if you upload decent that are liked and viewed a lot, you get to upload a new video with no restrictions or something. That would lower the amount of crap videos and increase views and likes as you would likely share them a lot more wirh friends and family.
  6. yeah I said Im not sure what benefits there are, thx for listing them though. Not for mocking me... From this list i'm not sure the color science is better then the pocket 4K though. I always like the fuji colours while shooting stills, but I have not seen any great fuji video's yet.
  7. Yeah I guess its a weird sentence, but they kinda go togheter. You can't have one without the other. Im not sure what benefits the XT-3 would give me while shooting as I should everything manual anyway.
  8. Well If I would shoot witht he XT-3 and cutting it with ursa mini pro footage my life would be much easier to just shoot with the pocket. So for me the pocket is also shooting preferred.
  9. Is that still a thing 1mbit? In belgium the minimum is 30 Mbps the minium. Fiber is coming up, and 5G is launching over here.
  10. Meh even at 2k I would not buy the FS5. I don't like the image or the handling of the camera.
  11. Well a lot of us are just hobbyists/students who want to share projects, 10GB in 2018 (or 500mb max upload) is not that much. If you are doing this professionally sure you can put these costs in your booking accounts and its not a big deal, but for hobbyists and students its enough to look for alternatives.
  12. Yeah I have seen numerous complaints about that, I have never had that issue with vimeo but I have with youtube though.
  13. What player are you using? Any recommendations? I will miss the vimeo community though, which is by far my favorite and also the best way 2 find talented people.
  14. Yeah I have seen a lot of people quit vimeo because of this on facebook. Also the 10GB max on your free vimeo account is a joke as well (let alone the 500mb weekly upload).
  15. Haha I don't need it perse. I have a 6D for that. But was just wondering Might be handy though for once in a year kinda situations.
  16. hmm is that a hotshoe for flash on the front? but is has no electrical contacts. Is there a way to trigger the external flash through a cable or something?
  17. Yeah sucks, youtube is not a good alternative though. I Wish a new player would come along and stur things up. - As good or better quality then vimeo. - Cheaper prices as vimeo. (bandwidth and disk space got cheaper over the years but prices never went down) - no DMCA policy..
  18. Yeah I almost bought it after testing it on IBC in 2017. But they said they would release a Nucleus-N for even cheaper,(only one motor) little did I know it would take over a year to release that thing. So I am still waiting on the Nucleus-N. But yeah I like this thing as well.
  19. Probably Resolve could do the same or better I guess. Not sure why you would bother with neatvideo as resolve already has awesome noise reduction.
  20. Multiple reasons. - Different colour science - No screen - Small company (so dont know the support)
  21. Ok I guess I have to avoid those 2 shops then. Maybe I need to look elsewhere in Europe. If anybody comes across one "in stock" let me know
  22. Im def going the pocket 4K route, as its the perfect bcam to my ump (and I dont have to color correct different cameras anymore). I dont care about AF. I sometimes do editing jobs, and I often get gymbal/slider AF shots in that are unusable. They are flying around and suddenly a pole appears in front of the camera, the focus shifts to the pole. Congratulations the shot is ruined. I agree RAW is too big for casual work, but blackmagic raw does fix that. Smaller files that are fast and give a raw workflow. That feature alone is worth the pocket 4K alone for my taste of shooting. Allthough MFT is a small sensor there is a easy way around that with a speedbooster. But then again this is my perspective. I would def go for the X-T3 if i had more photography jobs though. And you prob can use a speedbooster on the X-T3 as well making it a full frame camera.
