Hi guys!  I would like to offer my music to everyone.  It's electronic and mostly instrumental stuff.  I'm giving it away for free because I made it for film makers and video game developers to use ROYALTY FREE in all of their stuff.  If you use it like it and enjoy it I ask that you give me credit!  Much love everybody!  Here is a list of the 11 albums I have.  There's plenty of music to choose from.  If you want something specific feel free to shoot me a message.

Cheers everybody enjoy all the free downloads!

Also I love to see the different stuff it gets used for so if you do happen to use something let me know so I can check out your sweet projects!

    Another self shooter-editor here.
It's only me that think "all my video editions look the same".
I'm not afraid of brutal cutting  my own footage, and i dont want to "fit it all".
But at the end of edition i always think "just another piece of f@$#% S*@%"
Always use same transitions, same fades, always sync to the music, ...
Thats the way i learn and its difficult to break this route.

I'm don't do video for a living so here is a different point of view.
I was going to school for photography when I got married. I sold off all of my gear to fund a place to live. I have an office job with kids, and cats. I found a vintage lens and resold to get a Canon T5 for one off event photography job on the side. I found 2 more vintage lenses, sold those and the T5 to buy GX85. I found an open box Zoom H1 for $50 at a retail store near by. I'll probably keep doing this and do overtime at work to get lenses and audio stuff. Hopefully will have enough time to shoot and land a small gig next year. I hate my office job, but it feeds my family.

Unbelievably, the shop had an actual Panasonic rep in who was eager to help me evaluate the G80 so I had to think on my feet.
"Can I just see how the focus tracking works when its being controlled by the app compared to my GX80?"
    "Of course"
"OK, you go over the other side of the shop and I'll put the app on and then you walk towards me. Slowly".
    " OK....Is this far enough? "
    "No. Further away".
    (Faintly) " How about now?"
"Yes. Now walk back really slowly"
(pretend to study app screen while sending commands)
    "How did it do?"
"Its the same as the GX80 so I'll stick with that for now"

What's also the same on the G80 and the the GX80 is that VLOG doesn't work on it either.
I have an idea about a clue in the GH4 that might shed some light but don't hold your breath.

What, you think I'm just going to wander into a camera shop in London tomorrow asking for a demo of a G80 and casually try and put VLOG on it?
Because of course thats precisely what I'm going to do !

Grimor reacted to aldolega in Wanting an upgrade from D5300 at a great price!
The Panasonics are probably your main choice on that budget.
GX85- very good 4K30, good 1080p60. 4K has an additional crop compared to 1080p (2.3X instead of 2X, compared to fullframe. Your D5300 is 1.5x). Very small body. No mic or headphone jacks. Very good IBIS. Screen tilts but doesn't flip out. Doesn't come with Panasonic's flat profile, Cine-D, but user BTM_Pix just figured out how to add it. HDMI output stays on while recording. Good to very good rolling shutter performance.
G85- Same as GX85, except in a more DSLR-ish shape. Half-metal build is nice and solid. Has a mic jack but still no headphone jack. Has a flip-out screen instead of tilt. Comes with Cine-D.
G7- Same shape as G85 but plastic build. Otherwise pretty much the same except it doesn't have IBIS. HDMI shuts off if recording internally.
GH4- Bigger metal body. No IBIS. Has Cine-D and can be upgraded to V-Log. Slightly worse ISO performance than the GX85 and G85. Color science is also a tiny bit "worse" than the newer cams. HDMI stays on when recording, unless in 10-bit mode, then it's HDMI only. Much better bitrates for 1080p modes and has a VFR mode for up to 96fps, but it's pretty soft. LCD screen is nicer than the G cams. Battery life is phenomenal. Rolling shutter is a step better than the G cams, especially in 1080p.
With the Panasonics I would recommend going the Speedbooster route. You could keep your Tamron and then expand on it with some old AI or AI-S glass, for fairly cheap. Your Olympus 50mm won't adapt to a Nikon booster though, you'd have to use a plain adapter. Or just sell it and get a Nikon 50mm.
Photos with the Panasonics will be on par or a bit weaker than the D5300. The Speedbooster will help close the gap but you won't have autofocus.
You can also look at the A6300, but as said above, its 1080 modes are soft, no IBIS, battery life and rolling shutter sucks, dim screen, etc. But for some people the tradeoffs are worth it for the great DR and detail in 4K, and superb photos.

Would it be worth making a new topic called 'Looking for GH4 owner on firmware XX' since GH4 owners might not be reading through 23 pages of about modding the GX80? I mean, I don't read through the Samsung Hack topics, because I don't have that camera.

The only M42 35mm lens I use now is the Mir 24m 35mm f2 (there is a nikon mount one & is listed as 24N) - just perfect for anamorphic.
I've used it with great success with Iscorama 54, Kowa for B&H & Isco Widescreen 2000.

@PhilipV I'm somewhat confused as you ask for a 35mm, but then the widest possible. So do you mean 35mm focal length or a wide lens used in analog 35mm photography?
If we're talking 35mm focal length, I can also recommend @Bioskop.Inc's Mir 24N (nice flares also). Furthermore check Super Takumar 35mm/F3.5 (compact and sharp), or the 35mm/F2 (more expensive and longer). For 35mm/F2.8 there are many, many options. Well known are Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon and the Mir-1 (which is actually 37mm).

Shrug, this is a hobby for me, VERY expen$ive one too!  Luckily?  I have a good paying job.  Unfortunately, it is full time, and VERY demanding/stressful, sigh...
Doesn't leave much time for important stuff, like family, hobbies, etc...
How I wish I could do this fulltime, it would be super great.

Why would you want body-only anyways? It's only $100 more for the kit,and you can easily sell off the kit lens for ~$250. Instant $150 discount on the body.

Readily available in the UK still as body only. Thanks to the country lurching from one laughable decision to another it won't be long before there is 1:1 parity with the dollar and it'll be worth buying a plane ticket to come and get one!
    http://www.wexphotographic.com/panasonic-lumix-dmc-g80-digital-camera-body-1607694/
It does point to a new model but I'm curious to know what they could put in it without threatening the GH5 to be anything other than a relatively small incremental change. Higher bitrates and purchasable VLOG are both available in their top end bridge camera the FZ2000/2500 so it could be those and that could make it worthwhile for upgrading. But either way, a new model will make a used G80 quickly be available sub £400 which is beyond a bargain.
Not to mention the surprise on their faces when I ask if I can test it with my new follow focus controller........
And how doubly shocked they'll be when I put the metabones smart adapter on and they see it doing it with Canon lenses as well......(As shocked as I was yesterday when I got it working !)
But that's for another thread on another day. Like next Thursday probably.

Some great discussions on here in the past few weeks about paring things down and in the spirit of that, what do you think is the sweet spot camera?
I'm beginning to think its the G80/85
4K, IBIS, Mic input, Cinelike D, articulating screen, flexible mount, compact, no overheating, decent app for remote control, easy workflow.
And you can now get them for £550.
I can see it about cameras further up like the A6300/6500 and the GH5 but I definitely think the G80/85 packs the biggest bang for the buck.
    Whats yours?

Without it you can see more naked screw.
But finally i put it back, because redstan clamp dont need so much screw turns.
