My thoughts is, please please please have this (in order of priority):
4K DCI 60fps 10bit 422 internal with no crop + IBIS + XLR-K2M style audio implementation (not add audio like the YAGH!!) + built in ND filter (if the RX10 can do it, why not a GH5?? Even better if variable ND filter like the FS5!!) + 240fps FHD + multi aspect ratio sensor (like the GH2).
Do that and I'll sell my wife, soul, and first born to get one.
 
 
Do check out the XLR-K2M, is a nifty Sony product which can be put on their mirrorless cameras, or even point and shoots!
I see no reason at all why Panasonic couldn't bring this out if they considered it. 
The Sony RX10 mk2 is priced way under US$2K, and has an ND filter. Even if they GH5 doesn't have the fancy FS5 ND filter and only has a basic RX10 type ND filter then I'd still be happy with that as a big improvement for the GH line up
As it looks like an AF200 is not coming, I think Panasonic really needs to bring their best A game with the GH5! And the GX9/G8 can be photography focused cameras, plus there is Olympus for MFT users.

Don't worry, even I (self proclaimed "King of Canon Haters") own a Canon DSLR as well

A Canon 50D! :-o Which I picked up for NZ$50 (which is about US$35 ish).

Hopefully Samsung stops being a twat and just makes the NX2 preferably in APS-C sensor cause the full frame is going to have shait rolling shutter unless they stuff two of their best cellphone ARM processors in the camera which will consume more power than a Tesla car.
2160p60 and 1440p120 with HDR or an actual proper LOG profile and high bitrate. 
I know they can do it, also is weird that they exited, everywhere I see and go their cameras are outsold, I checked an online store that had 20+ Samsung NX1, and then a couple of weeks after, they were outsold. 
Such a shame that no one else wants to make a camera like the NX1 even if it would sell like hotcakes.

DPreview is just a communal front porch leading to Amazon. Anything driving traffic away is probably viewed a threat, though for their own sake (i.e. maintaining the illusion of editorial integrity) you'd think they'd leave it up.

Dude, I love your mission statement from the frontpage's 'about'-section:
That kinda continues in a philosophy that 'nobody should be blocked from participating in a community where they can learn and showcase their talent as a cinematographer or filmmaker due to a difference in opinion, skill level or approach to filmmaking'. You've also allowed and welcomed everyone who was willing to add somekind of positive contribution to the site. I remember even one guy losing his cool and asked to please be banned already, yet you didn't seem to really see the point in that, but did as he asked and told him to come back should he have a change of heart (which he did).
That's what I like about this place, just somewhere where free spirits can come together and share knowledge and opinions, without everyone having to follow strict directions and having to be on the same page. DPReview is a very practical site, but I wouldn't really want to 'hang out' there, sorta speak. I like opinions. I like your blog (I might not agree with everything you always say, but then again, why have an opinionated blog and open forum if there's nothing to discuss) or YouTube channels like TheCameraStoreTV with Jordan and Chris or DigitalREV with Kai and Lok. Because, unboxings and going through the specs is something everyone can do. I can't stand CNET reviews. I need someone to get down to the nitty gritty and not sugarcoat things. What is it really all about? What do you think?
I don't go over to other sites much, other than the rumor channels, because they don't understand fun, creativity and community that much. I feel pretty much at home here. You've created a nice atmosphere for people to speak their minds freely. I thank you for it and hope it continues on like that.

I am just a guy with an independent voice in the world of camera reviews without hundreds of cozy ties to people from the manufacturers, without ads splattered all over the screen, without sponsors on my every video, yet still I find EOSHD mired in a world of cut throat rivalry. Only very occasionally like in the beginning with DPReview have I been given a leg up in this industry and even then it only takes one person like Barney to massacre that relationship too. The other blogs like NoFilmSchool, Cinema5D and NewsShooter spend 10's maybe even 100's of thousands of dollars trying to punt my homebrew EOSHD site into oblivion and I just find the whole thing utterly distasteful. Rather than offering a new talent an opportunity they instead I am treated like just another commercial rival to be beaten.
In the end it is up to you guys to choose. The managed platform of platitudes and advertorial, or the honest opinions and educational books of an artist/filmmaker.
May the best guy win.

Unfortunately I fell out with their 2 main guys, over disagreements with the direction their editorial was taking. I guess this is the result but it's still a nasty thing to do to their own forum users. I don't care so much about myself. But why punish their own readers and limit their knowledge of external resources?
It is a shame as I have met some of the DPR team in person and count them as friends - Lars and Richard in particular. Lars used to live in Berlin!
There's a bit more to the story as well... I began to be frustrated at every turn at how hard it was to get my articles past their main editor Barney and something else happened, something deeply disturbing, that I will not go into detail about.

Hell just give me a a D750 with 1080p 10 bit 422 and it would be an instant buy. I already love the color from the camera.

Nikon has Flat profile, which is amazing. 
They do not have C-LOG because they did not develop it in the first place and they did the Flat profile. 
My point was, Canon already has developed C-LOG. It is there, it exists, do you get that? So no reason not to put it in the 5D except market protection. 

Canon stinks. I can't wait for them to die like Kodak did, it will be well deserved. 
5 years we wait their camera to get nothing. They could have done 4k FF with the 300mbps codec of the X10 and CLOG and the 5DIV would have been an amazing camera for video and photo. Just 2 specs, that are ALREADY existing on canon products. 2 easy specs. Fuck that seriously, they take us for pigeons and they are right to do so. Because the thing is people will still buy their shit. 
 

All the rumors are Panasonic will announce the G80 and not the GH5 first .

People think the D500 is just for sports/birds, but it also has been argued the D500 is the best ever general purpose (especially for DX) camera Nikon has ever made. 

I want one!!! I don't even shoot birds or sports (well... I photographed a rugby match the other weekend just for a laugh). 

OK. Did you actually test your rented camera before using it for anything important? You sound very cross.
