"It's a bit like Frankenstein..." (from minute 8:21) LOL : ) @Kisaha You're right, man! : )) We pay we want SOC metamorphosed to SOG : -D

For a simple reason, the matter is not centered on weight but form factor, that is, in two words: design and size. That's all! : ) Seems the doubt is most likely cleared up. Hopefully, Crane 3 LAB addresses the Pocket 4K... without quirks.
-
My fear on the new and small size offer by them... Hope they are fully aware of this new tool without IBIS... but targeted to run-'n-gun filmmaking anyway as no one ever before (go figure 4K RAW for such price ; -)
-
Two comments by my side: - Hybrid should mean IBIS in 2018, so maybe a good reason to wait for 2019 X-H2 ; ) Conclusion: I'd probably go with 6K -> 5K GH5 for now to follow the last firmware AF improvement. - Add a faster glass route other than f/2.8... f/2 for APS-C or f/1.7 for MFT and you'll be just fine on S35 look ; -) It is not hard, is it? : -)

X-T3 vs A7III vs EOS R vs Z7 vs Pocket 4K - Video Quality Compared!
Emanuel replied to Mako Sports's topic in Cameras
I remind certain old debate on topic I had with another member here (a more frequent Sony user nowadays) once MY's misleading conclusions are dubious IMO (my old rant, I mean, not his camera option I guess and fairly believe a personal of his own anyway, based on Sony's FF route as seems so and much very likely). That's a way more territory of fact than only realm of opinion BTW : -) -

Never felt him as more than a mere YT's pop thing. Well, I recall my doubts expressed over these same pages. Unfortunately, people respect his stats more than anything else. -

People tend to believe one can't match another. Wrong : ) Reason why one of my fav Niels Bohr's quotes ends where you above incline to forget that a deep truth is a truth so deep that not only is true but it's exact opposite is also true ; ) -

My best bet is for Moza Air X. https://www.gudsen.com/moza-air-x Pity comes a bit late to 2018 party... The race will be with the most serious contender these days, even though a fair doubt on the Pocket 4K balance over there: https://www.redsharknews.com/production/item/5878-zheyun-techs-highly-compact-weebill-lab-gimbal-shows-gimbal-innovation-isn-t-dead In the meantime, my fav is the more dual handle versatile a2000: Here's a comparison by Antos: https://tomantosfilms.com/16385/gimbal-shootout-moza-air-feiyu-tech-a2000-zhiyun-tech-crane-v2/

The last update brought some new outcome from there: Interesting approach... this last one up there BTW ; -)

He NEVER finds the worst skin tone for Sonys... ; -) -
From these posts: ...I've decided to launch this thread, I guess a lot of us are looking for. Your tip(s)?
-
I bought mine from Kickstarter. Never received though. I recently entered in touch with the CEO, he told me he would fix that : -)
-
Both perpectives stand. I also appreciate our Greek fellow's criticism. Constructive criticism should always be welcome : -)
-
: ) Part of the exposure system... : D Well, reason why ETTR can save our arses ; -)
-
That's the price range... Run 'n gun label immediately applies ; -)
-
Agreed. I've even been criticized on these pages because of same standpoint. ETTR is somehow very useful and this camera a milestone, though : -)
-
LOL Of course : ) Nuts now. WTH is that?? : D How have you arrived to such fine conclusion? : )) There's no one shooting style. Yeah, right. Thanks for the information : P Sorry for the irony. I've just found funny. Hey, I also want to apologize myself. Me included, to be here as well : -) PS: A final note, though. Old school is done. Media convergence, introduction of large sensors, lightweight tools, from early last decade $100,000 to $1000 price range for S35 acquisition and so on. It is late 2018 today, folks!

Both dual native 400 and 3200 ISO coupled to ETTR and you are just fine. Have no worries anymore about it : -) No complaints about, circumstances vary. It will also depend on your shooting style and last but not least, subjects to shoot for sure. Obviously. But, if you want to protect your highlights, you'll have enough DR room from your clean shadows to go on ETTR : -)
