Funny, I think exactly the opposite. This camera is already outdated from the scratch... Remember, it is MFT : D Well, to my eyes otherwise, it will be much hard to be beaten. To take the previous example(s), not even when BMD will launch a substitute ; -) I never had a single problem with Panasonic gear BTW... I guess that's why I don't mind to be called a Panny fanboy : -D

Sure, even though fair reports on lack of reliability for X-T3 should concern much more than plastic because it doesn't look like very likely PRO... Sigh : ) I am a PRO because that's what I proudly do for living from a plastic camera ! This even makes me a better PRO... LOL

People tend to forget when this same camera outcome didn't exist at all for any price actually... Nothing at all. Closer only into the $100,000 realm without mention studio recorder and player to add a post production suite to double or triple the six digits investment. I am just done with so picky and uneducated complaints. People need to get scope before start shooting without perspective at all from absolute ignorance, bad memory or simply lighthearted distortion of reality.

Chris, your in your own : ) I've seen lots of examples "in the wrong way", I do never call them wrong, just different option from mine ; ) Do you like that P4P outcome? Very well, you're obviously entitled to your choice as already said. I can even add my criticism to the way you or someone else sees the footage to watch. As much as you or anyone else on the opposite direction, actually. Both ways. Count on it. I just don't commit the mistake to say one is better than the other one when it is not. Bit rate could be an explanation. I'd bet more on larger sensor heating with no absolute clue on engineering, though : -)

Here's a fair reason why the IQ difference should be minimal or even none.

The brand label is not the best... I'd have called it White Magic or Light Magic instead. Presumptuous option IMHO. The only darkness I buy is that one from where light pops us : -)

Sure not, Yannick! Such complaints only raise either a smile or a loud sigh in my face : ) Alex, as much as every camera out there. That is, it is much likely that another camera will cost much higher if not lots of "much"... BTW take it as mushroom effect. This is anything related to this camera in particular. Every camera requires that or another extra cost. This camera will always cost less than the most camera options. : -)

I firmly disagree. Every single camera needs accessories... Trust me, this camera needs the most affordable accessories you find out there : -)

I don't find it disappointing at all. What similar camera you have for the price? I get more than one solution for everything you've just mentioned... Every single one of them... This camera is still a milestone. You just need to know how to shoot with it : -)

Trust me, I'm afraid that wouldn't be solved, with the early production units at least. To work around is the only way to accept there's no perfect tool. It is up to you to make it work as due now ; -)
