  1. I've seen and enjoyed it actually. Pity they've forgotten to add 4K/60p. I had bought 1 camera unit at least : -)
  2. Seems Crane 3 LAB brings video monitoring, not available with the smaller Weebill LAB: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1571220 http://www.zhiyunstore.com/en/zhiyun-crane-3-lab/ Exactly my feelings for now (even though I feel myself tempted to buy the Crane 3 LAB pending on waiting for weight information) : https://www.reddit.com/r/GH5/comments/9xfm4t/zhiyun_weebil_lab/
  3. @webrunner5 Don, you can reach Terry on dvxuser: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/member.php?40593-Terry-Nixon Worthy of a try once the worldwide demand since this camera is the dream of some generations as matter of fact, from a Texas seller though, who knows? They are a reputable supplier, you'll only end fine there : -)
  4. Thanks : ) Everything, actually. If you've found any issues so far. Your impression the deeper you go on your experience with the gimbal. People say this is not designed to balance this camera. Any solid workaround to overcome it? I guess these are your first shots along this setup but... Do you find your results as smooth as any other ones from other gimbals? No wobble from your outcome?
  5. No, no and no. I am sorry : ) Have you already shot with one? AF there can be rather useful, you just have no AF continuous. Other than that, it serves the cause (tap-to-focus + that large screen even adds the absence of EVF : )) Battery life? Get a few of them or just any workaround as you wish which may fit your cup of tea. You won't complain in the end. The immovable screen is the best size I've already seen in a camera of this or any other size to be honest. The way fits there and its clever position design even helps the shooter to not feel the need to articulate the screen, that is, no extra distractions to disturb the operator, actually... It works, man ! All about angle(s)... Forget the selfies : D Those Aussies have designed such a (PRO) tool : P There are no relevant shortcomings, really. Only in the head of those who don't know the camera : ) Discretion, you said? It is as light as 722 grams... Mirrorless class, my friend. You put a pancake lens and with its 5" screen looks like you even have a smartphone in your hands! Trust me, I have one coupled with a 35-100mm f/2.8 between me and my keyboard while I write such words now... Purely true LOL Get one to begin with and let's talk then, OK? : -) Last but not least, I'd just appreciate Nikon had added 4K/60p even through HDMI (why not WTH?) ...and I would have purchased a Z7 for sure. Nikon lover here. My first SLR camera still to collect dust amongst my 2-decades collection of Nikkor lenses (BTW, I can use them on P4K, but I can't the reverse from MFT to Nikon or something else's FF, isn't it? ; ) Therefore, waiting for upcoming Panny offer for now.
  6. You won't want to capture all of your stuff on 4K/60p, of course... As much as direct sound, actually ; ) But, you'll probably praise to have such feature to enrich your outcome when you feel like so. My beef with Z6/Z7 cameras as single motion picture acquisition device is exactly the lack of 4K/60p, no matter how low light ability will be extracted from FF. Or better autofocus. Or yet that extra high resolution as fitter hybrid tools at stills side. BTW, I've been using ISO1250 coupled to fast glass on MFT (P4K) for night footage without missing FF at all... : -)
  7. How can Z6 beat 4K/60p from GH5S? The fact they miss the feature in this camera even through HDMI is beyond my own understanding...
  8. What do you @Anaconda_ have to tell about it?
  9. There's no buyer remorse with this camera. Count on it : -)
  10. Once I am also based in US, I am able to put it in Europe if someone will be interested I can ship it from EU as well. I'll probably have stock for. Send me PM as you wish : -)
  11. I've shot some stuff but the best of my footage so far is only home videos with the usual cast, so a bit hard to post it over here, despite the rain these days. Some projects will pop up for sure : ) My fav ones particularly in the dusk and night along is ISO1250, looks like ISO100 ; ) With fast glass you have no need for anything else... (E : -)
  12. Nice input, man : ) As gimbal user, what's your opinion about Moza Air (1st edition) versus Weebill LAB (for P4K use) ? Any hint? BTW, they practically have the same weight but not the same form factor definitely.
  13. Sure, buddy and I will tell you that I am surprised with their AF too. It is not perfect. A bit of pulsing is their unique flaw though. You don't even miss continuous autofocus. In the beginning, I thought it would be useless to even think to ever use it. My bad. Some other lenses later and I realized that was only the product of my laziness. A few primes or even the 35-100 f/2.8 II to follow up (so zooms as well, but the newer the better) could actually show me a much fitter and totally distinct outcome. Tap-to-focus really works precise, accurate (had the chance to stress it under low light circumstances, go figure) and in such huge monitor for so lightweight device; you get the mirrorless weight for the balance of a good solid brick-and-mortar. Any hint what the boys of Nouvelle Vague movements would think about, more than 50 years from today? ; -)
  14. My friend, don't think that way! It is rather the opposite... : ) These guys have invented the most easiest camera and way to achieve the most affordable grading ever : )) Trust me. And I am particularly done with them this last couple of months... I've even personally addressed my rant to Grant Petty himself claiming for better business policies to their parties or/and whom is interested to collaborate/work at their side. They've done what Jim Jannard promised almost a decade and half ago, so they must second Jim's not only on that! : -)
  15. Great post, man : ) The last paragraph is a pearl then : -) Unfortunately, and especially to me and many others from motion picture ballpark, FF is replacing the best format ever -- MFT gives what others will never reach: this craft is all know-how and art of lensing it; no other format offers such versatility from C-mount to FF not only but also when coupled to a focal reducer, let alone the whole leftover. Here's the reason why mainly there are (digital) dinos : D like us who care ; -)
  16. Don, will you accept an advice from someone who wishes the best in your hands...? : ) Buy one! ; -) I hadn't seen this one here yet, but it is fully true... This is the best camera for motion picture acquisition ever : P
  17. I see you haven't followed my posting along this same thread... Maybe you might end all surprised about ; ) I just write what I've found from my own experience. And if just a few time ago I was in doubt not exactly about their own camera but their business policies, I must now surrender myself to their superior offer (a fair comparison between their interface and ergonomics vs the other contenders would be enough) because I see I know more than you for the subject matter. No one sent me one for free in any way other than a pre-order my partners and I had to fulfill (we paid 925 pounds without VAT BTW). I wish I had 28 units to satisfy a third party of ours they simply refused to serve, no matter the people we had reached, Grant Petty included. My rant. Because we've lost a chance we should not miss and they didn't care or seemed so. I wish to see you being as sincere as I am, from there, under such delicate circumstances we've just lived, dude... Rather than mere BS posted only as YT clickbait or to justify to be outside of the Party in the comments section whatever pages you choose to somehow hide sorta frustration to share ; -) You or anyone here can not even recall you/we were not invited : P Just blame yourself to have not pre-ordered such no-brainer. I do. I would have demanded three dozens of them earlier if I knew what I know today ?
  18. Of course. It is so funny certain comments... Well, I shoot for two, three decades now and I can tell you quite frankly: This is the easiest and best camera I've ever shot with. Period : ) Don't believe it? Stay at the dark side then. Your loss... Not of many others who are getting fun from there. BTW, solid manufacturers like Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Olympus and so on should learn with these guys how to set up an intuitive and PRO menu like these Aussies. My hat : -)
  19. Yeah, seems they are the best camera service on earth : ) So, there shouldn't be so many defective units out there for sure... ; -)
  20. If you are waiting for a camera free of defective units, better to be rid of it never buying one... Problem solved ; ) I am in position to tell you this camera has been one of the best sellers ever, so? It is normal you'll find reports of defective units with, isn't it? ; -)
  21. +1 Two and more from inside saying the same... why should it be? ; ) Don't go after excuses to only justify personal reasons exclusively by your own ; -) @mercer when some better daylight will help me to overcome how stuck I am on ISO1250 for now : -)
  22. Really, Don, this is a craft and not even a point-and-shoot camera. Very easy to shoot with though. Trust me. The most unique and accessible beauty I've ever date ; ) A pleasure to deal and handle from scratch anyways ; -) Hard to have buyer's remorse.
