I'd also rather have that extra stop for both low light and mainly that unique bokeh from a distinct DOF. Let alone the superior IQ. Pity the noise issue to record audio for video though, isn't it?

Yes, Oly's the best. Panny is not bad at all. I'd even use Fuji's X-H1 standard too, even though to follow GH5 and G85 (better than GX85 before the Gyros improvement). New GoPro HERO 7 Black version is also pretty useful at any rate from a small sensor sized. Or you still have the Stead XP route: Users tend to say Sony's implementation is inferior. Aside the fact, compatible stabilized lenses can really help, IBIS is not ready for walking anyways:

I think the question is: you have both GH5S and now the X-T3. Why such a new one purchase? Too many similar options. GH5S will struggle to beat any of both competitors for new buyers anyway. Best a new GH5/GH5S as GH6 all in one. Best to do. To end to complicate a bit more : D IBIS and decent AF would simplify that though. Go figure now if those highlights would roll-off before clipping and be much smoother instead... ; -)

As already written, this should have a thread by its own IMO. Always nice to discuss different cameras and even no less distinct approach on methodology to follow. Glenn, give your tolerance a break : ) There's nothing wrong on constructive criticism. I only find that test is not the fairness itself ; ) It surely is a private test. I just think my observation is rather pertinent. That test sould also have its own thread BTW, not in this one here.

Despite I appreciate your answer, you should use a faster lens for a fair comparison with MFT as for instance or will become misleading as happened so. Take a look on that FF sample there. Not a tragedy but you could remake it as you intend an accurate outcome. Sorry mate for this time (E : -)
