  1. I agree, even though the lighter the better, it will obviously depend on the balance of the rig, the rig itself and time spent with.

That's why the choice of your rig is not a little thing as much as size and the necessary effort to handle it and carry on.

Just turned a year plus too less than a couple of weeks ago (I'm from October 17 : )

  2. Guess what?

    The most funny is yet:

This serves to even reflect how 1080p (even @30p) can swellingly be better in fact, oh yes, than any higher-upscaled-rezzed crap...

Let alone when natively to already constitutes a pre-filled ticket form...

So, no much complaints unless the usual yadda yadda on mere BS around pretentious sharpie mantra to just ruin a picture...

From such affordable 100-150 bucks device anyone could give it a try and shoot a film, you read it well (just don't expect many variables), with:

  3. LOL LMAO What else? : D

NOBODY here realizes what you meant with such cheap crappy marketing in anything other than as trying to make us uneducated for this purpose. To say the least. Really. Need to not underestimate your audience over these pages, I'd tend to be glad to say not only this community but special this one ; )

The point is simple: sounds pathetic, mark it wherever you like.

    Pure nonsense.

  4. Congrats for your purchase, I hope mine to arrive in the early days of November... ; )

Thanks for your input : )

In any case, I don't see why B-roll shots couldn't be part of a big screen feature film like those I produce each year already screened in Berlin or Sundance, to only let some other ones outside of such couple of these mentioned now ;- )

This is ready for prime time just 'cause fills the cup, that it!

Of course, I agree with you that an aperture would have been a handy addition.  I'd imagine including the ability to have shutter speeds that are crazy short is a cheaper alternative and achieves the same exposure.

Motion is not the same though.

  6. Arrived:

    WOW

Who will resist to not have it for half grand? ; )

The top bargain ever, so far, IMO... This is a dream but for real from now on. And not necessarily for vlogging capture device for sure. Street videography/photography shooters will just say thanks ;- )

  7. I like when people disagree but hey, not everyone must buy my ticket! ; ) Anyway, agree to disagree helps as much as discussing anything. Without your post, Marty and mine, we probably weren't here now, we hadn't Stephen and Django's insights, so here's another one on topic:

They are mere tools... Not necessarily miraculous mantras nor everyone here is looking for nice pictures on these pages, I tend to see them straight from my big screen but literally (or almost, as much as possible whenever I am able to) in front of me ;- )

  8. Different people, different needs... There are people who like people, worry about the clima, there are other people who simply don't care. There are altruistic people, there are selfish people. There are people who love come here to watch pictures, there are people who simply don't care. People who want to consider gear for their exclusive use, others don't. We actually cannot be the other 51% of the time.

    - EAG :- )

PS: That said, I find no less useful the enthusiasm of @SRV1981 TBH.

  9. I have some interesting experience as camera user used to exchange of capture device or gear (when not only for updating to the last version) several times a year among much distinct pieces of tools...

GoPro is definitely the one with more demand from people looking for used market or open box units.

To me, it was a surprise. No other brand beats their market value, at least from my own experience, a good one to tell :- )

Not unless you're shooting long record times and we all know what that means.....   booooooooooring films!!

Indeed : ) But, we can use 4K 100fps only for acquisition and use it for slowmotion when necessary and the leftover converted it to 4K25 for less boring stuff... ; ) LOL

    Will it overheat in 4k120?

Good question! I even had a much frustrating experience with an overheating episode going along some capture device these days, so... To overheat or not is definitely key before anything, that's for sure ;- )
