The funny thing about Max's comparison video is that it made the Sony IBIS look really bad and I see Daniel Schiffer pull off some awesome moves handheld with his A7III all the time.  Which leads me to think that the XT4's IBIS is more than enough to achieve that level of movement.

No way, I'll take my GH5 for video over this everytime.  I use anamorphic and 6k all the time.

I don't see how this is an upgrade from my GH5.

Though, I do have an X-T2 for stills, now maybe for that...

Man.. as an ex GH5 user, I'd go with the XT4 every time, unless I'm using anamorphics.  Bigger sensor, better color, better autofocus.

It feels weird to look forward to a camera announcement from Canon.

Looks good. I can see a lot of GH5 users upgrading, unless you need anamorphic.

Free adapter but no 6K?  Good trade.

Reasons: Larger FOV with speedbooster (1.3 crop vs 1.6), ability to shoot 4k with no crop(don't want 6k all the time). 

So it depends on the person. The Pocket 6k has better color science, higher resolution, more dynamic range. Big downsides for me is you can't shoot non cropped 4k RAW and of course no prores 6k(not as big of deal), worse internal battery life(if you'll use internal batteries), EF mount (could be good or bad?). 

If you don't make a ton of your camera purchases the Pocket 4k could save you 1k that could go to rigging it out (or buying food to live lol)

I've been tempted to upgrade my P4K to P6K many times.  But, I always stop when I see that the P6K can't do 4K/120 although I dig that its anamorphic has more resolution than the P4K.

That is really interesting. I thought both cameras were the same except for resolution and mount.

Yeah, since the 6K came out, you can get great deals on the P4K.  Been very happy with mine although thinking hard about the 6K just because the anamorphic resolution is a lot better there.

i remember when I had the XT3 that, while I dug the colors a lot, the highlight roll off was pretty harsh. Is the XT4 going to be better?
