I'm not really "over" IBIS, I've just realized I don't "need" it. But I would love an LS300. Maybe after I sell a screenplay. I think the multi sized sensor and prime zoom of the LS300 are some of the best advancements in the past 5 years. If Panasonic thought of it, it would be the most praised tech on this site. Lol.

I just don't understand why they haven't done a swappable version.
The swap on an Epic between PL and Canon mounts takes a few minutes with an allen key and even with RED doing their macho bullshit styling and etching everything in BOLD CAPITALS on it can't get it to be over $700 (although inevitably they have also an operation-desert-storm-kevlar-titanium-and-granite version of it for a gazillion quid).
The bottom line though is even doing a swappable version is all a bit of a wheel re-invention as having an MFT mount on it from the get go just gives you more options. They could've gone as far as bundling it with a Metabones smart EF Speedbooster and I think everyone would've been happy.
It won't stop me buying one as I wasn't going to anyway so maybe they have listened to the right focus group from that perspective !
Now you're 'over' IBIS the future AF200 for you is the current LS300

I'm mainly finding it staring at me saying "why aren't you using me?" unfortunately.
The intention was to use it for the tournament assignment I've just done but it took a complete backseat to the stills work to the extent that it and all its supporting gear actually got shipped back home midway through as it was becoming a logistical burden hauling it round with me!
I've got the new firmware on it at least so as soon as I've had this little holiday it will be getting put to work for the new season so watch this space.
What I can say from all the testing I've done with it is that the sheer versatility of this thing in using native MFT, B4, PL, Canon AF, Contax Zeiss, M42 and Nikon lenses is that you'll get no arguments from me about what mount Panasonic have missed a trick not putting on the EVA

BTM_Pix got a reaction from IronFilm in Nikon D850 development with 8K timelapse officially announced.
I can only speak to my own job of sports photography but I think they might struggle with a D6 or even a D5s. No one is really crying out for higher speed at this point and if they are the economics are so tough at the moment that there are still plenty of D4 and D4s being used that shows people aren't ready to spend on the D5. That's the problem with selling workhorse cameras, people will take you at your word when money is tight!
If this D850 is to be the last hurrah for the D8** line in a mirrored format then maybe there is something in it being called 850 rather than 820. If they are looking to go out with a bang and also keep sports and photo journalists in the fold then a halfway house between the 820 and a D5 would be very popular. Something just a bit less resolution but that had proper performance at 12800 would be enough for me to do what I don't want to do which is buy another mirrored camera!
There are plenty of D8** cameras used in sport (by me included) but they tend to disappear into the bag when the lights dim. In the wilderness years before the D500 came along, the D8** was effectively - due to how far you could crop in - the best pro APS-C DSLR that Nikon made and that's how we used it. If they can combine that with better low light performance then it won't be a difficult sell for people like me with battered cameras who are baulking at a D5 price ticket this late in the mirrored game.
Who knows, maybe if they're committed to NOT doing another mirrored D5 successor then they might say "fuck it let's just make the last high end DSLR we make also be the best DSLR we ever made".
If they're looking for legacy like they did with the F5 when digital was coming in then that's exactly what they should be doing. As it stands, their legacy from this era will be the D3. Which is no bad thing but it would be great if they bucked the trend and went for giving us everything they could in a product instead of holding back.
    Dream on though eh?
It'll be a million mp, useless beyond ISO3200, 1080p with a 5x crop, and have a mirror slap that could be measured on the Richter scale. The only thing approaching IBIS it will have is the Irritable Bowel Syndrome it give you when you shit yourself at the £3.5K price tag.

I've used Fuji for paid gigs.
    X-pro2.
Works okay. Not reliable image. Odd distortion with edges of frames and the Fuji wide angle lens.
Anything with auto exposure will result in "step" adjustments.  Not smooth changes.
Its useable, but doesn't exactly inspire confidence or allow flexibility.
Needs exposure compensation in post, and you have to adjust the native files.  If your workflow happens to involve a transcode before editing, you're gonna have an issue to deal with insofar as you'll have to adjust levels while transcoding or you're gonna have a lot of detail lost in the blacks and highlights.
Most folks don't work this way these days, so most likely that's a moot point, but still mentioning it just in case...using FCP7 ain't a viable option, for instance.
    Color sure is purty tho'

This is a decent comparison to summarise the differences in video performance between the X-T2 and the X-T20.
The headline difference is in the line skipping on the X-T20 which gives the X-T2 the edge (ho ho) in terms of sharpness but at the expense of the additional crop factor.
Its by no means a night and day difference though so they will cut together without a major issue.
The X-T2 can also do log albeit only to an external recorder.
On the other hand the X-T20 does touch AF which might be something that would be appealing.
There are other additional hardware differences that favour the X-T2 such as a better EVF, dual card slots, the battery grip and so on so there's no question its a higher end offering but, IMO, I think a better spend instead of two X-T2's would be one X-T2, one X-T20 and use the saving on a Crane or other gimbal.
You'd be getting near identical IQ so most of the advantages of two of the same model but with the advantage of the flexibility of different form factors (the X-T20 is not far off GX80 tiny) and also addressing its achilles heel compared to GH5 etc of not having IBIS.

BTM_Pix got a reaction from Santi Deva in Adapter with ND filter to protect Sony A7SII sensor from dust
The only thing to bear in mind with the lens throttles are that there is no ND0 setting so you'll always be losing some light. If thats going to be an issue for you (doubtful with the camera you're putting it on!) then you'll need to carry 2 adapters.
I only have the dumb version for M43 so I don't know about the AF aspect with the smart one you're looking at but the ND performance is very good and its a neat product.
As an aside for anyone looking at one of these for M43 mount, its actually an EF to M43 converter and they supply it with the converter to EF of your choice. So when I ordered it as M42 to M43 it actually is two separate pieces which is great because to use it with Contax Zeiss or Nikon lenses, I just take the M43 to EF part off and replace it with the C/Y to EF or Nikon to EF. Without any adapter I can of course use it with EF lenses as well so essentially its 4 adapters in 1 for me.
Plenty of reviews on YouTube including this very nice one from our very own @Mattias Burling

The next month or so should reveal more information apparently.
The problem I have is that the go to source for info about it should be the reduser site but I can't last more than a few more minutes on there because of the sycophancy.
I went over there earlier to see what it was all about regarding RED selling the cameras through the Apple store and pretty much did this.

I've just picked one of these up and its a pretty nifty little thing.
Basically its a series of locking bars that you can easily change to be anything from a selfie stick for Vlogging to a top handle to a shoulder mount or even a poor man's low mode stabiliser.
As the joints lock in any angle its really flexible in being able to be shaped to what you need it for. Its really useful in the shoulder mount mode actually because you can make the angle of the piece that runs over your shoulder to be really tight so it hooks in firmly.
Each piece also has 3 mounting holes so you can attach handles, mics, lights, monitors, cup holders or whatever else rig enthusiasts like to cram on there if thats your thing.
Its light, versatile, folds down small enough to fit in a coat pocket and at £38 its not exactly going to break the bank.
With something with IBIS like the GX80 I've got it with here, it gives some great additional stabilisation advantage and still keeps you stealth.

I remember back in the Epic days they came up with the M version which people could jump the queue ahead of the X version if they stumped up the money so its not without precedent for them.
Not sure whats gone on here as it seems a confused picture as to why they seemingly couldn't deliver until 2018 and now they are available from stock at Apple.
I thought there might be some reaction on Reduser to it if they had bypassed a bunch of backorders to favour Apple but there doesn't seem to be.
Mind you, Jannard could go on there and tell them all to fuck off and the reaction would pretty much be this

BTM_Pix got a reaction from luminescence in Mini Review - The MOVO Foldable Pocketable Rig Type Of Thing
How well it works for that specific movement will vary from person to person I suppose.
My own physiology isn't conducive to decent walking shots anymore because of the amount of damage I've done to my shoulder over the years but the MOVO does improve it over handheld.
What is interesting about it though is that it can be shaped in so many different ways so I've done some experiments with turning the last piece up instead of down so it hooks under the shoulder which with my physiology is actually a bit better.
So the answer I suppose is that it depends !
But there is a ton of flexibility to it that you can find a way that suits you personally better.
I've just done this quick illustration for you of what else you could do if you put it into a more basic inverted L shape. Because of the mounting points on all of the arms you could side mount two cheap pistol grips (I only have one so you'll have to use your imagination but basically it would go directly on the other side!) to do something with a different take on the Fig approach where it would be gripped like handlebars.
I've put the other picture from the other thread of the grip being used in a more conventional way for anyone who is only looking at this thread and hasn't seen it. A couple of these grips (which are inexpensive and way hardly anything) can do offer a lot of scope with the MOVO without breaking the bank or your back.
    Grips are here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Neewer-Handheld-Stabilizer-Panasonic-Samsung/dp/B018LQEFL4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1501604216&sr=1-1&keywords=Neewer+Camera+Handle+Pistol+Grip
