@Anaconda_, I use only manual lenses, so I'm not able to help you.

Found this video today. Really dig the look, the majority of the shots look simply gorgeous.

You seem to be mistakenly thinking the Z6 is "bad in lowlight" when it is not.

Just put the a7iii in full cinema mode and it will look awesome straight out of camera. It’s hidden in the menus.

Are you trolling? Because you are asking for a camera that hardly exists. You want clean ISO at 12800 for stills and video and with great continuous autofocus. The only camera that would suit you is the A9 or A9ii, but then the colors are wonky and you won’t get the picture profiles. The Z6 is great in low light with regards to both video and still (I own one) but it’s far from good enough to continually track focus in low light scenarios with erratic subjects.

I just don't understand their logic with this.
Ok, if there's been technical limitations or bugs that they're struggling with (i.e. image delay), I can understand that.
But keeping people hanging on like this doesn't paint them in a good light.
    It's nearly 2020.

Everything points towards Nikon struggling as a company and there's plenty of mention of them downscaling, changing the business model etc etc.
    See this link.
    https://petapixel.com/2019/11/12/nikon-says-its-cameras-need-to-justify-their-existence-as-a-business/

For them to throw away a potential market win for all the budget video people out there dying for 4k raw video seems like total lunacy to me.
Every day that passes by the camera world gets closer to another S1H or other disrupting body, and Nikon really should act now, or have acted long ago to capitalise on this and win back some of the market that's shunned them for so long.
I just grinds my gears watching this kind of thing happen.

If it's just for some stupid scheduling or strategic reason, then that's just a shame and they'll suffer for it.
Recall how much of a runaway success the 5d series was.
I'm sure they could have had something like that if they'd delivered earlier in the year.

Brilliant work. cant wait to use this on the p4k shoots I have lined up.

    I bought the Viltrox EF-EOS M2 and the EF 17-40mm f4
The adapter weights 140g and the lens is about 480g, so together it's just over 600g. It does look a bit odd but it feels alright due to the M6 having a decent grip for a small camera.
Build quality of the adapter is good. There's no play on either end and it's not too tight either. It feels solid yet is quite light (most speed boosters are over 200g).
The autofocus works really well. Pretty similar to the native 22mm, just a little noisier. It can be heard in video if the room is silent but otherwise it's not a problem.
Central sharpness is good. Edge is poor up until f8.
Weirdly, the edge sharpness at 40mm is worse than at 17mm.
Overall the adapter makes a great cheapskate option for full frame but I've realised it's a bit surplus to my requirements right now so im returning it. And with lenses like these it's better to have a camera with a bigger grip.

Well I received it 2 days ago (3 days before the estimate) ? Years ago my main casual camera was the Panasonic GX7 + Olympus 17mm f1.8. This camera actually achieves everything that I wanted in an upgrade to it. Maintains the same body size but has a better grip. Better sensor. Better colour out of camera. An even smaller 35mm equivalent lens. And has video stabilisation,
I've been comparing the Canon to my Fuji XT30 ?

Something that surprised me is that there's actually a setting called "Highlight Tone Priority" that's not too dissimilar to Fuji's DR setting.

And so the result is that you can actually get quite similar dynamic range to the Fuji with Eterna on DR400.

One thing that disappoints me is that bokeh of the 22mm is noticeably smaller than the Fuji's 23mm.
    Fuji 23mm f1.4 @ f2.2:

    Canon 22mm @ f2:

Another thing I noticed is that Canon's whitebalance usually does a better job than Fuji. Prior to the X-T30 I've also owned the X-t2, which also struggled with finding the right WB.

The biggest surprise for me with this camera is the outstanding color reproduction. Skin tones are spot on. This matches up much better with my Red Dragon than the BMPCC4k. Would love to see some kind of 12 bit raw implemented.

I finally released my last feature in streaming. It's now on Amazon's Prime Video here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZHRZ782
    It's a Drama/vengance/thiller type
I little bit of history with this.
I started to shot this film in the end of 2013 (yes almost 7 years). It took almost 3 years in production. It was shot with a couple of Nikons DSLRs and Super 16mm film. Since it's first screening in the Mar Del Plata International Film Festival in 2016, the film was going around thru some festivals and other screenings. It finally got a theatrical release locally (Argentina) in march this year. It's preaty hard to get distribution to some "kind" of movies.
As you can see, this is a very looong process when you are a "newcomer" in the business, but you just to keep pushing.
I still have in plan try to reach some other platforms. Only time will tell.

Stoked to review the EM5 mkiii. Been using only the EM1 mkii with the new firmware the last few months and for the most part love it. I wish it had the button layout of a Canon 1DX or something...but other than that...I love the image I get out of it. The EM5 mkiii seems like basically a mini EM1mkii with minimal loss in ergonomics and battery life for a smaller and more compact size. I'll take it. Love it!

According to Phillip Bloom who is testing Lumafusion 2.1, it should be released 'any day now'. I doubt it will have the changes you want but it will definitely have exporting xml for integration with Premiere and FCP.

The gnarbox 2 is the real deal when it comes to this... (had it a few weeks)
As SD card back up it is 'ok fast' - seems to match it 75MB/s claims - also does a checksum to verify the back up - lets you backup to the Gnarbox and an external SSD simultaneously.
Integration with Lumafusion, Lightroom CC, Photo Mechanic (via the selects app) is spot on. Wifi transfer is fast and it lets you do usb-c transfer too (over 200MB/s on my pc.) You can do in and out points straight from the Gnarbox in Lumafusion and then it only imports the in/out footage. Wish there was better integration with Premiere Pro.
Yes, it is expensive but way better than some of the alternatives I have wasted money on (Gnarbox 1/WD passport pro).
