  1. Thanks, It's probably the same until the gh4 gets log.
  2. Or just stop down, it gets crazy soft.
  3. I think it will be pretty identical to the A7rii, but with 12mp, better lowlight and maybe one more little thing to differ it. Don't think Sony will change and all of a sudden make the s that much different than before.
  4. Not if its a good rigg, but it sure helps.
  5. Same thing on my 4K Sony Smartphone. It gets hot as hell. So not very weird at all imo.
  6. Pretty much what I just said. And the a7 really got a bad rep when it came to moire. It was so easy to avoid. I've had much more trouble with moire in the nx1, bmpcc and a6000 than the A7. And none so far with the a7ii. Only had for three days though.
  7. Mine had some weird settings like that out of the box.
  8. And don't forget moire. The a7ii is much better than the a7 so I imagine the A7rii will as well, also 4k often help. But still, might be smart to wait for a review. (personally it really needs to be special to justify the cost when one can buy an a7ii and an A7S used for less money.)
  9. Maybe meaningless to you, but not me since the Full Frame was better. Even though I've had an E-m5 it seems I had forgotten how much of an impact ibis has on rolling shutter. The a7ii has virtually none when used handheld and you really need to whip it to make show clearly. Much better than the a7, a6000 and of course A7s in that respect.
  10. It's not an A7rii, it's an A7ii I just figured they would act pretty much the same since the A7 and A7r does.
  11. There is a setting for that in the menu if I recall correctly. Taking out the battery isn't it.
  12. I would have considered it an upgrade because of s-log. Not having that was enough for me to have no interest in the AX100. That and it's imo weird colors and low DR.
  13. Did a quick test with my $12 Zeiss. Haven't used it but might need it this weekend for a little project so I took it for a quick walk. And yes, this is text book boring leaves, flowers and pet footage.
  14. That is awesome, didn't know that. Just did a quick test and its better but it might be because its wider. Will do some better test when I have the time. Full Frame APS-C
  15. Yes I like it for handheld. And yes I want it to look hand held. Otherwise I use a tripod. i know some want handheld to look like jib shots but that is not for me.
  16. Any link to example, just curious since you are the first ever to claim this.
  17. You can set the focal length manually on legacy glass. Yes ibis still works. Rolling shutter isn't as much of an issue with ibis but I imagine it's better in s35.
  18. 600mm 4K for a 1080 or 720p timeline would be pretty decent reach
  19. No you don't have to, but it's nice. If you run N gun just use ettr or the built in spot meter. Btw, you don't need to run anywhere. That's the point of a spot meter.
  20. I use the same lenses on A7 as m4/3 and Bolex. I'm all about vintage. The GX8 is interesting but imo not something that can't wait and be bought for peanuts in a year or two. Btw, the ibis on the full frame Sony is killer so it will be cool to see it in the A7sii.
  21. This. I bought a Seconik for a good price with built-in spot meter from Japan. So glad I did the upgrade from my old lightmeter. Have used it every single day when shooting. And also for stuff like checking my ND filters.
  22. Here are some samples of the Zenitar on larger sensors. M4/3 APS-C FF
  23. I don't belive for a second you can tell 4k from HD on youtube. I've done plenty of blind tests with lots of people including on avsforum where they usually peep pretty deep and so far no one can.
