Marco Tecno got a reaction from Kisaha in Incredible RED sensor
Actually Samsung was almost there with nx1 (out in nov 2014), but most ppl were not enough open minded to understand that (both inside samsung and among customers).

Marco Tecno reacted to mercer in Sell my 1DC for GH5?
Then again everyone and their mother are going to sell off their 1DCs and C100s and BMPCCs to buy the new GH5, so your work may be more differentiated by keeping the 1DC.

I would remove the word 'easily' from that sentence.
Compared to a Canon, it takes alot more work.

Marco Tecno got a reaction from MountneerMan in Petition for Samsung NX1 hack
Mountneer, I generally agree. As to dxo score, it's very much influenced by the high iso score, which is obviously better for 1dx being a latest gen full frame camera (vs 2014 apsc on nx1).
I rather think that the difference even on dxo is really small, considering the format and price difference among the two.

Is it impossible at this stage to make an electronic adapter?
Techart Pro with electric connection to lens for stabiliser would be amazing, its no point if the electronic lens is not activated and it just adjusted it as if was a manual lens, there was a guy who managed to make the Samsung communicate with Canon lenses with a conversion board.

"there was a guy who managed to make the Samsung communicate with Canon lenses with a conversion board."
I think it's the same guy who made the Rocky Mountains Movie Converter. Looking at his site and videos it seems he can control both EF and NX lenses via Arduino. To me it seems he could be very close in making an active adapter if he has time and motivation.

Marco Tecno reacted to DBounce in Sell my 1DC for GH5?
Not sure I would part with a 1DC for a GH5. The image from the 1DC looks great. But I would certainly consider it as a B-cam.

Marco Tecno reacted to ttbek in Samsung NX Speed Booster
Giving -200 error when I try to upload my jpeg, trying to use a lower jpeg quality to see if the smaller file size lets it upload. Hmm, no luck, says "There was a problem processing the uploaded file. -200" I have no idea what the problem is. Other files from the 5DSR also don't seem to be working. Well, just uploaded a 400mm f/2.8 shot to DeviantArt, no appreciable vignetting: http://ttbek.deviantart.com/art/Tiny-Rocket-658531277?ga_submit_new=10%253A1484922555
Hmm, now two Samsung files are having the same problem with uploading, weird, at least the first two here worked though. What I'm showing here is the slight play in the rotating section, it can be pulled slightly out or be slightly more in, first shot is out (5725) and the second is in (5726). My Samyang 12mm's back element does something similar, not sure if it is supposed to be like that, maybe I'll open it up and see if I can tighten it. It seems to be the same on both NX-L adapters. I don't know if it is optically of concern or not, I think probably not, unless maybe if it shifts on you after you focus or something?

Marco Tecno reacted to Andrew Reid in GH5 180fps Clips for Download
Are their any step-changes in quality as you go down from 180fps with the variable frame rate option?
Say 120fps or 96fps - any more detailed and less aliasing?

Marco Tecno reacted to wolf33d in GH5 180fps Clips for Download
Why would they not allow 40Mbps for the 180fps this is ridiculous Probably a cripple for their Cine cameras..

Marco Tecno got a reaction from rooney111 in Interesting 2016 Sales Figures
I was not clear. I wanted to say...if canon had a mirrorless camera as good as nx1, a6500 or x-t2....which it has not.
-
Marco Tecno got a reaction from rooney111 in Interesting 2016 Sales Figures
If canon had a camera like nx1/a6500/xt2, very few ppl would care about other brands/cameras. Canon brand is simply to strong and camera market is made of loyal customers, averse to change.

Marco Tecno reacted to lucabutera in Samsung NX Speed Booster
I Spent many nights to create the NXL, I started with a vision and with the contribution of all those who have bought and tried I could improve it.
The boards of all were useful, I alone could not test it with all the lenses and detect the defects, a project carried out in crowdfunding is this.
To answer your question, I must tell you that in reality this would be the Mark XXX version, but I prefer to stick to the NXL version.
Currently, the construction costs are very high because it has made in Italy and in a limited number of pieces, so I can not reduce the price, but it remains a good investment given the rarity of the piece, maybe will be revaluated as anamorphic lenses.
ALSO I AM SURE THAT SAMSUNG RESUME PRODUCTION OF CAMERAS JUST HAVE INTERNAL PROBLEMS SOLVED AND REORGANIZED THEIR COMPANY.
