Thanks for the complement. I too like the look I got in that video. Yeah I actually loved the D750/nikon images, usability wise it was an issue with me before because I was doing a lot of Run & Gun. Now that I shoot mainly sticks, I'm considering picking one up. I don't know what nikon does, but I do think they have better motion cadence than Canon. I do also miss my D800, just something about it's image. It's weakness was it's horrific moire.
 

Some of your Nikon work put these cameras on the radar for me. That winter beach video you did with the Tokina/Angenieux zoom was a real eye opener to me as to what these Nikons can do. 
Yeah, the 750 is a way better camera, I'm just unsure if it's worth the upgrade this far in the product cycle. With the D7200, I'd get a lot of the video features for half the cost. And then if I get along well with her, I can get the 760, or whatever it will be named. Who knows, their AF may be up to Camon's DPAF with the next generation. 

Miss my D750, mainly do to the clean gradable image in the very compact codec. 

The 58mm is very sharp even wide open, but does have chromatic abberation until ~f2.2.

No shutdown for a full 29:59 is great news. No improvement in rolling shutter...less great. Even with IBIS, that severely limits its versatility.

If you do not need 4K, I agree you should get C100 Mark II.

To be expected, really. It's just an a6300 with extra heat inducing features.

It's a fantastic option, with great features and 4K, with the RAW output available for your film work.
It's Autofocus is inferior to the C100 Mark 2, and it's menu system is much more complicated. You'll have to add the cost of the Metabones adapter to get all the features of your canon lenses as well.

If you do not need 4K, I agree you should get C100 Mark II.

I would buy the C100 MkII: it is a complete system with ND filter, audio inputs, good log codec etc... 

So when is someone going to make a seamless BMMCC grip that integrates smoothly with the body creating a DSLR type form factor and giving you new record and other important buttons? I thought this would have happened already. Surprised BM didn't release one themselves, also a slimmed down version of their new Ursa EVF, I bet they would sell a ton.

RS is on of the most defining differences between high end cameras and consumer ones. If I cannot use pans in a shot that takes away a storytelling tool. And the A6300 isn't simply bad, it's horrendous, it's easily the worst performing RS of any consumer camera. It makes it unusable in any professional filmmaking setting, relocating it to use in interviews and event work.

Oh comon emanuel, thats slomo footage. The 6300 does have the worst RS around, and RS is a problem.

They are great, unfortunately you just don't know how to use them...... Not every camera can just magically get you the image you want without knowing what you're doing, also why in the world were you using S-Log in an indoor environment with lights.......
