  1. Some more footage testing Visiontech. I forgot my ND filter so some footage is shoot with a very high F number and some diffraction was occurring. Sigma 18-200mm. not very good lens but some shots were impossible without the zoom.
  2. It is the kit lens 15-45mm some more clips. not graded but looks nice to me.
  3. it's visioncolor visiontech 2.0. I'm waiting for my Viltrox focal reducer which found for 110 euro. Will be great. The 1,7 crop on video and 1,1 on photos, almost full frame.
  4. This is because they are doing something that they shouldn't There's nothing wrong with the skintones of this camera, if you use the proper settings and profiles. I'n enjoying the dynamic range also.
  5. With the sharpness totally down I quite like the image of this camera. this is a not a color graded video. Sooc Visiontech profile
  6. I was also quite surprised at this. If you compare it to the champion GH5 or A7s 1080p is no that different. I would lower the sharpening though to avoid some aliasing that is still present. How is the mic input noise level? With the Viltrox reducer in the way this can be a very good stills / video camera.
  7. These are from the regular P20 and the base raw files from www.photographyblog.com Here are the developed raws in camera raw. Detail, noise, and dynamic range surprised me a lot. Seem good enough for me.
  8. The non Pro versio of the Huawei P20 takes better raw pictures than the pro version IMHO. I found out that the best balance between photo and video is in the Samsung Galaxy S9. Best video quality is Sony XZ2 but lacks photo raw support and 4k 60p. Lg G7 also has very nice lens and video but the sensors lack in dynamic range. Its incredible what can be achieved nowadays with a good phone, both in video an photo. Raw helps a lot in photo because jpeg phone algorithms seem to be balanced to social media and to look sharp when reduced to "intagram" size. Xiaomi and ZTE have the best ( natural ) sharpening algorithms IMHO. Apple is out of the game in every way except color.
  9. What is nice about the image is that it does not look oversharpened and the noise structure is nice. This points either to RAW or much better in camera processing options. The DOF is very thin, but without the lens specs and distance from subject is dificult to say if its a bigger sensor, dispite the f number. Don't like the colors though. Too red/orange. It might be the LUT. The dynamic range looks nice also and very good noise structure.
  10. That new 24-105 f4 is really great! The camera is also very nice.
  11. The real problem here is that they are not offering good 1080p either. By now the image coming out should be solid 1080p but it's not. It's full of moire and edge sharpening artifacts. And that's a shame!
  12. Any development on the LX100 Cinelike? THis would be really unique. The GX85 is to close to the G85 in price so is no not a big deal. Just for those who have already bought it. But there inst nothing like the LX100 yet, for the price, with this kind of flat profiles..
  13. http://www.newsshooter.com/2017/04/20/jvc-gy-ls300ch-new-firmware-enables-internal-4k-422-recording-422-uhd-6050p-output/ Is this one?
  14. Very good image indeed. The shown specs don't always make a good image. See the olympus E.m1 markii for example. Poor image but good specs. GH5 the same.
  15. This Canon is really a gem. You get good footage right of the camera. Good colors and not over detailed image. You don't have to diffuse / soften later. I don't understand this fixation on detail, especially with 4K cameras.
  16. This is crazy : Almost global shutter
  17. Anyone successful with the 600d ? I've tried with one but no luck. Sure I'm doing something wrong, Any help?
