I had one of these, honestly it was rubbish. The Loupe the monitor all of it. 5 dollar Loupes for Canon on Ebay are better quality than this Loupe and the screen was borderline useless.

I agree with this and also makes sense as the crop isn't that much less than bmpcc... otherwise the stated bmpcc crops are wayyy too big. I disagree that horizontal crops give you the best idea of FOV, as I shoot a lot of anamorphic and weird aspects. For example if I made a 32:9 video with the same width as a 16:9 video on your sheet they would have the same "FOV"... I don't think this is right. I get it (why you're taking the horizontal) but for myself it makes no sense.

Settle down... I wouldn't still own a GH4 if I didn't like it . That doesn't mean however that I don't see this small "issue", no camera is perfect.

I also have GH4 and compared to 7D raw I notice a big difference in motion as well. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but all I can say is it looks kind of fake and electronic (if that makes any sense), like using a super high frame and shutter rate and then playing at 100% speed.

I think he might be telling the truth, just give him a chance... I really can't believe just how blind some people were in that whole scenario.

Well the above scam is fairly obvious to me for a few reasons. 1. The paypal email address looks funny, 2. The grammar is bad. 3. Paypal never usually does this. I can see how this would trick people and I once was also almost scammed to give out all my details. I was quite tired and not thinking straight and got a Paypal scam email around the exact same time as I was doing other Paypal stuff so it seemed legit... Best tip I can give is - NEVER click email hotlinks for Paypal or Banking, always type the real URL into your address bar. Banks and Paypal will never hotlink you to their sites.

I never said they were not worthy of my praise, I said the price of that ebay listing is bullshit. Read what Hans Punk said, he's pretty spot on (imo). Myself I wouldn't ever pay more than 1000usd for the Prominar version (I've seen quite a few sell for less).

That price is bullshit. I wouldn't even pay 800 for that one.

Because it doesn't have those crappy artifacts and can shoot at low f.stops .
