Mark iii can shoot 1080. 7D gets close enough to 1080 in my opinion. If you shoot anamorphic you can also shoot above 1080 with 7D in 4:3 mode.

Depends what type of person you are I guess... there's no hard and fast rule. One thing I know is that people like Ed make people like Jnr think twice next time. I've had a lot of things stolen throughout my life and I'd be fine with those people getting the Ed treatment. Decide for yourself.

I get about 30mins on a 128GB with sound, I have 2 of them (so 60mins). I also got an 500GB external SSD to edit with, so much better than regular HDDs.

I wouldn't really count anything he said as "breathtaking". As I said earlier in this thread, I never really thought much for what he had to say, most of it just seemed like re-hashed lines from other forums such as PV, DVX, or from watching camera reviews etc. I guess it did un-fortunetly fool quite a few people though... that would be the only thing I would consider "breathtaking".

Well you mean 7D or 7DMK2? Because as far as I'm aware MK2 doesn't shoot Raw video and the regular video it shoots is pretty crappy in comparison to a MCC. I've just started shooting 7D MLraw coming from a GH4 and I'm really happy with it. I don't seem to have many problems with it other than you need a lot of space, I just got some 128GB Lexars now and I'm sorted, really happy to shoot and learn more from this camera.

I just hope this thread makes some people question the bullshit they read in forums a little more... please use your brain people.

This is so silly, you actually thought posting that would help? If you were really legit you would've just posted a video with you and your rich grandfather together explaining the situation and then refunded the money to the people. You still could I guess, although it wouldn't have as good effect as if you had done it a few days ago.

He's given no substantial theory whatsoever about radiation, nothing that would even remotely sugest he's anything close to a radiologist (not that that would make him a specialist in understanding the type of radiation coming from these lenes anyway), if you're even considering that it's really "Senior" speaking please PM me, I have a few Rangefinders for sale .
